Take breath mints with you. Coffee does *not* make for pleasant oral activities.. even talking across the table can cause you to wrinkle your nose. ;) Also, eat something light before you go.. butterflies can actually leave you a little light headed if you're nervous. If you wear perfume, go light on that as well.. if he is allergic, sneezing his brains out makes it hard to have a conversation. Check the weather before you go so you aren't dressed too warm which will make you sweat or too cool which can distract you and make you uncomfortable. Take your time getting ready, enjoy the anticipation without too many expectations and, as many others have said, have fun!

Oh, and take enough money to pay for your own coffee or what have you... just in case. :)

Not only do I always carry a pen, but I also carry Post-It Notes. They're so sticky and awesome and bright and cheery, and also useful for making notes! And posting them to places! Hurrah!
