i am curious as to others thoughts on what role religion plays in your lives? i was raised a Catholic, and still pray every night. i make it to church just a couple times a year, but feel that i want to find a better understanding with God, including going to church more and reading the Bible. my question is just what role does religion play with you and is it possible to be a Catholic while submitting to another person?

for me it, since i am not religious more spiritual my early belief system which was catholic (and yes had to wear uniforms in 12 yrs of school lol) doesnt affect my day to day life. Nor does it affect my life choices. I do whats best for me and as i say quite often if there is a god i hope he has a good sense of humor!
