One definition of "classy" is: "having or reflecting high standards of personal behavior ." In no way does this contradict the things you describe as being/wanting. I feel the same way you do. I come from very humble, rural beginnings and am what most would consider "redneck" in many ways. I also am educated, very free thinking and many other things that would balance out any tendencies my raising may have engendered in me. I consider myself very classy but not because I have lots of money, dress in expensive clothes, act uptight, speak perfect English, or any other numerous things many would associate with the traditional view of the word "classy." I've lived in several trailers, drunk barrels of cheap beer/wine, been married to a convict and incarcerated myself, love hanging out in honky-tonks with my wild friends - the list of "the other side of classy" things in my life could go on and on. Some would probably call me "trash," the ignorant bigot fucks. But fuck THEM. I've seen life from all angles, both low and high, and I love it all. I DO have "high standards of personal behavior," though they may not match the expectations of some. Who cares? I am who I am, both low brow and high and it's been a blast More power to ya, you trash-talkin' wench, you luci
