All these pages and still no offers of solutions?

lol, at the end of the day we will be more than likely be
waiting another 30-60 days before there is any end in sight.

So, we can look forward to one million posts of yabba dabba do.

"a definitive date and meaningful solution is yet to be determined for the worst oil spill in the U.S. history."
Yes, and your point?

So let`s hear what the solution is already, rightist.
Are you thinking of a specific poster here or are you lumping them all together as usual?

Just throwing stones isn`t enough.
Who said it was?

Show us how bright you are.
You first.

What could all the world`s ships do to stop or slow this under-water gusher?
Good question, what could they do?

Are you suggesting that bush or even Mcgramps would admit they needed help and would ask for it?
Who suggested that? Oh and that was really cute the way you said Mcgramps. Kinda reminds me of the Peter on Family Guy when he says "dick" and then giggles.

Can you give us an example of this open mindedness on their parts?
You have no clue what open mindedness is, so why would anyone waste their time explaining it to you.

We would hear some solutions by now, if they were concerned about the gulf.

So you are saying the left doesn't care about the gulf?

And you say that because they haven't come up with a solution yet?

Wow[8|]

Yea, I can understand why all the experts down in the gulf are having trouble coming up with one. But I really expected someone on CM to have the answer.[8|]

tazzygirl -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 5:12:41 AM)

boi, you really are in an argumentative mood today.

All we have heard is condemnation of all the attempts so far.

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

If you want to bitch, explain how you would do better.

Why is it ok for you and the op to bitch without providing a solution, but it is wrong when I do it?

tazzygirl -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 5:21:40 AM)

Im not bitching about whats going on.

luckydawg -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 12:51:47 PM)

Correct Tazzy, you are not bitching.

You are defending the Obama response.

Refusing offered help.
Leaving more oil in the water.
Accepting BP's numbers instead of monitoring the situation from the start, and lying to the world about the extent of the damage.
And using dispersants to send it to the bottom, where it can't be skimmed up.

mnottertail -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:00:41 PM)

and so we are back at the beginning, so what the fuck would you do?  didnt republicans buy and quote their numbers?  werent republicans gonna nuke the fucker? werent they drill baby drill? refusing the offer in the early stages seemed prudent based on what was said, I mean, you bought bushes lies about iraq hook line and sinker wholly disregarding enormous evidence to the contrary.....

K, hes human, couple false starts and bad decisions.

So, what the fuck would you do? Not woulda coulda shoulda did, but what the fuck would you do?

TexasCondor -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:07:43 PM)

I believe the days are past where the current administration should be pointer fingers at past administrations.  At what point does the current White House, take responsibility?   So far, our President has forgotten all the promises, all the transparencies, all the "No Lobbying will darken the door of my admistration."
Appears it's "Business as usual in Washington,DC".

luckydawg -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:10:44 PM)

buy and quote the numbers? no, just you spouting shit, because your guy fucked up.
nukle the fucker? nope, just you spouting shit becuase your guy dropped the ball.
Drill baby drill? Amazingly you are still just spouting shit. Obama and the democrats approved more off shore drilling weeks before this occured. And As I keep poitning out, if we were drilling on land in places the dems locked up, we wouldn't need the deep water wells for another generation, where we would presumably have better robots to deal with problems. But no one can see these rigs. adn to a Dem out of sight is out of mind. thats why the dumb fuck is using dispersants to sink the oil. It will cause far more damage long term, but looks better short term.

What seemed prudent about refusing help?

And interestingly all but one or two of the Democrats in Congress bought Bushses "lies" (even though there were none).

I would have (and did) not vote for a naive idiot.

But it is funny to see that NOW you say armchair quarterbacking is off limits.

Jeffff -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:13:56 PM)

You are saying Sanity was not screaming for more off shore drilling?

You are saying servant4use did not suggest nukeing the leaking well?

You are wrong on both counts.

mnottertail -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:19:24 PM)

I don't see where Obama has fucked up.

Where did you get armchair quarterbacking from?

Lucylastic -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:20:19 PM)

Hmm seems that the dutch have been helping out since at least the 28th may
according to the Radio Netherlands site, in fact they have quite an article on it that is very interesting
http://www.rnw.nl/english/article/dutch-company-glad-help-out-gulf-mexico.
"The Dutch company Koseq has been asked by the US to construct two sweeping arms, which will be used to clear the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. At the same time another six sweeping arms are being sent to the US from Europe."

Makes Palins latest foot insertion look all the more hysterical, maybe the silicone leaked into her brain

So to you jeff, republicans are represented by a single guy on a chat board.

I didn't think you could get any dumber, but I was wrong....

Does that mean that I can now say that Thompson speaks for democrats?

Jeffff -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:27:13 PM)

No, I was responding to your response to Ron's

Neither side of the aisle has a monoploy on brains

luckydawg -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:30:49 PM)

I know you don't see it Mnot.

The amount of oil in the gulf does not matter, in lefty world.

But I do notice you are afraid to answer a simple question.

Why was it prudent for Obama to turn down help? A straight answer (which is probably impossible for you), would be appreciated.

Why was it prudent to leave more oil in the water? I call that a fuck up

I also think using disperseants to sink the oil was a fuck up of unimaginable porportions.

No, Sanity is cool. RuleMyStrife is a douche.

Ohhhhhh........was it something I said sweetie?

luckydawg -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:32:12 PM)

So lucy has not caught on to the timeline either.

What about Timelines is so complicated for Obama supporters?

luckydawg -> RE: Gulf Oil Spill, ala McCain/Palin and Rolling Stone (6/16/2010 1:34:11 PM)

Oh Jefff, you should have been clearer. You think Mnot is so stupid he feels Republicans are represented by some guy on a chat board.

Sorry old chap. You should be more specific in your trolling.
