I have worn the CB2000 off and on for about a year and a half now. What has been previously said is mostly true for me. I started out with the solid rings but when I found the right one, I ordered the same sized pivoting ring that comes with the CB3000. The very best way to prevent pull-out is to have a PA piercing and use a second lock to secure the PA ring to the front end of the cage portion. I suppose with two needle-nosed pliers one could get the PA ring apart, but you would never get it back together again. The longest continual period I have worn the device is 15 days. This had to be "built up to" in steps, but after I grew used to wearing it, it became easier and easier. Also as previously noted, baby oil gel is great for keeping chafing to a minimum, especially on the scrotum where the main ring rides. Shaving is also just about a requirment. I have had no problems with the metal rivet pivot point on the main ring. I usually shower while wearing it, and I have found that regular lock maintenance is needed to prevent internal rusting. WD-40 works well for this. As I am an older man, I no longer have morning erections, so I am not waked in the night by that. Also, as I have aged, my penis has shrunken considerably. I once contemplated getting the CB3000 cage portion also, but I don't even fill the cage of the smaller CB2000. My PA ring is always stretched out when it it locked to the front bars of the cage. Even with a purposely induced erection, I am not firm enough or large enough any more to cause any true discomfort. Once you get the correct combination of rings and spacers, and get used to the device, I can see no physical reason why extended wear of even months at a time could not be practical.
