More than €40 million have gone missing in the Diocese of Magdeburg in eastern Germany, €5 million have disappeared in Limburg near Frankfurt, and it was recently discovered that a senior priest in the Diocese of Münster had 30 secret bank accounts. And while parishes throughout Germany are cutting jobs and funds for community work, many bishops are still living on the high horse. A brand-new residence? An ostentatious home for their retirement? Restoration of a Marian column to the tune of €120,000? And i pray every one of them are convicted of embezzelment. Just another example of men claiming to be religious who have lost their religion.

And here lies a few examples of a career in the church resulting in wealth, for the church has hidden all manner of criminals under it's gowns.

All those conqests of the past, conquests under the guise of bringing the word of God to heathen peoples just for gold to be brought back to pay the church for financing expeditions. It was always a problem for me, just why the church needed wealth, why did it see fit to adorn it's churches with precious metals rarely anyone saw except for in a church, could it be even the sight of gold in abundance equals wealth and there power, power through wealth and of that wealth, gold stolen from other people and often disease left behind and laws were there were none before. The church through history, has it ever been anything but a control, power, wealth equation that the hungry saw fit to use.

It is a theory that pope John Paul I was murdered because of his investigation into vatican banking. Just a theory but there have been weaker motives for murder. Just sayin'.

Is this why you hate religion so much? Because you think they are all rich? Maybe that would explain your hate of republicans also. I know a lot of people think they are all rich too. I know I have suggested this before, but I think you would be a lot happier if you just got a job and made a little money of your own. Then you wouldn't have to be so jealous of those who have some.
