I met a collarme user on a long trip involving Greyhound Bus.  I will not use the persons name for privacy but I can say it was a very rewarding experiance.  I heard her talking on the bus, and for other reasons had the feeling I should talk to her.  We ended up sitting next to eachother and talked for quite a while.  Somehow the subject of BDSM came up so I found out she was a sub.  We talked more and later on I mentioned my wife is a sub.  She was shocked to say the least.  I am quiet, and subtle.  so talking to her later on I was told I should use silent in my name.

I was introduced to this site so joined as soon as I was able to give birth to TheSilentRuler.  I was made aware of things that I wasn't aware of before.  One of the major things is the idea of Poly.  So I am learning and will have a lot to learn.  For more detail you can see my profile.

Wow, what a great story.  Welcome to collarme and best of luck as you begin a new journey.  Does this mean your wife is interested in a Poly lifestyle as well?

Unfortunatally she is not.  Right now things don't look good for us for reasons other than this.  It has been coming for quite a while and I ignored the signs so it may be time that I move on instead of trying to fight a losing battle.

I am glad you liked my story.  Thank you for your welcome and luck.  Going to need it :)

I'm sorry that things were not as you had hoped....but at least you recognized the fact that you ignored the signs...so your that much further ahead the next time around.

Sorry to hear that it's not working out for you. My first marriage of nine years made me miserable. Life it too short to stay in an unhealthy relationship especially if the "working on it" is one sided. i am now with a wonderful vanilla (but BDSM friendly) man who understands me and couldn't be happier. Don't worry, happiness will be yours with time.

It is looking like more and more things will work out for my wife and I.  Our roles take part in the bedroom only but we would probably get exausted otherwise.  We have finally been able to talk to eachother and get some things resolved.  At times it does feel like a losing battle, but there are things that are worth having that are worth fighting for.

Wish me luck on the possible move to hot Arizona (at least it's not humed).
