Climb the poles that hold the speaker system and short them out during a rain storm. But make sure you dont anchor to anything when you climb so that if you fall, you'll be making your point clear!

People that walk through the breezeway of my apt building are getting mud all over the place and its driving me nuts!!! What can I do?

You need to do a few things. First you must pave the ground for 2 square miles around your apartment to stop people getting mud on their shoes. Then you must sit outside 24/7 and offer to wash everyone's feet and shoes before they go in to the building. If this doesn't work... fill the breezeway with cement. No need to tell your landlord, I am sure they will understand.

I need to buy a less expensive brand of ice cream, any ideas?

Quivver -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 4:38:53 PM)

First you've gotta hit the local GoodWill store and buy a blonde wig
and a over coat about 2 sized larger then you'd wear.
Then look in the clearance bin at Spencers for a Hillery Clinton mask.
Open the lining of the coat by way of the pockets...........
stroll thru the Frozen section while filling your lining with the Ice Cream
of your choice.

My Transmission is slippping tween 2nd and 3rd, what should I do?

casey -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 4:40:03 PM)

mmmm...might trying using a SuperSoaker to let them have it, entralled....and when they ask what you think you were doing must say "Sorry, was trying to wash off the mud those morons keep leaving"

Drive in first gear. This not only will solve the problem of the slipping it will help your transmission last longer because the higher the gear, the harder it works. Oh... and try to drain some transmission fluid out. Get as much as you can out of there. Your transmission running in first gear doesn't need that much transmission fluid.

I was wondering about getting a digital camera. Anyone have any suggestions for me in what to look for and where to buy one?

mnottertail -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 6:48:51 PM)

Try browsing the local goodwill.

Say Gauge, I am glad I caught you, I was out working in my yard this weekend and have pulled out two woodticks, it itches like crazy...do you still have the rubbing compound,  and perhaps a small dremel bit?

Ron

Or you could just try gasoline and a good stick match !!!

DesertRat -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 7:07:59 PM)

Forget the rubbing compound and dremel. All you need is some nice, coarse sandpaper. Get rid of those pesky upper layers and you'll be good as new in a few months...barring infection.

I am sick of constantly having to swap back and forth from my distance glasses to my reading specs. I can't cope with bifocals and progressive lenses make me feel like I'm on bad acid. What O what can I do?

(Ron, doesn't that quote translate to something like: "he had all the attributes of a king except for a kingdom?...I am not a girl, but have a profound appreciation for exotic, designer high heels, so can I get some of the bonus points?)

Bob

Eriayasha -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 7:40:01 PM)

Throw out the reading glasses. Then you still get to drive.
You can act like you're too good/busy/something to read anything, and make everyone else read it to you!

How do you get mice out of an attic?

Eria

Fire never fails.

I am worried about getting skin cancer here in the desert Southwest, but am sick of sliming myself with expensive sunblock. There must be a better way.

There is..... tar !
Spread a thin coat on exposed skin and let dry. Feel free to frolic in the sun as long as you like.

I will be going kayaking in British Columbia this summer. My arms get so tired from paddling, is there another way to navigate the kayak?

is there a better way to keep (not toss out, destroy, feed to animals--already tried that one--or otherwise deplete the supply) my shoes organized than by colour and heel height?

mnottertail -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 8:53:16 PM)

Dear DR.

Precisely so, now all the slaves will be banging on my door.

But I was sure you would have it out of hand, pointing out a heinious social and political faux paux on my part concerning vacous and vacuuous.

LOL,

How is it going these days?

Stand under your ''shower massage'' with your mouth open and let the jets of water hit your teeth.

I have a couple of Black Labs that like to go up on my deck and steal my shoes. They take them out into the woods and I have to spend an hour looking for them every time. What should I do?

mnottertail -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 8:56:33 PM)

Change your name to Al Capone, they quit goofing with him years ago, that should keep you under the radar.

mnottertail -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 8:59:23 PM)

Use the principle of choice, give them bodies to bury and they will leave your shoes alone.

Edited for principle and not principal.

slavemj -> RE: Really, Really Bad Advice (4/17/2006 9:05:56 PM)

i wear my heart on my sleeve. This causes a rather obvious red stain on my shirt, and sometimes people ask me what the pulsating lump is on my arm......it gets embarrasing. Any advice?
