I had a lovely meetup. I want to share one small thing...it really tells everything about him I'd need to say. I had gotten a little too much sun *coughs pink blotches coughs* outside of Applebees where we met, and as planned we went to this large park I know of and sat on a picnic bench in the shade. Until the sun started to peek around the trees. He got up to stretch his legs, he said. After a while, I wondered out loud at him standing in place and not moving around...and he said he can't change location because his body is blocking the sun.
He was using his body to protect me from sunburn.

Anyone who has been in the same thread as I was lately probably knew I was coping with domme frenzy, well this guy is the reason why.

Our meetup: Sunday, June 20, 2010, from a bit after 4 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Who started contact? Normally I don't, but I did. He was within the hundred mile radius I was looking for kinky friends in. Yes, FRIENDS, lol, I wasn't looking for more. I sent him a quick note because we have a common interest in Sci-fi and chess, saying something like if he's ever in my area and wants to meet up, I'll bring my Star Trek; TNG chess set.

He's not mine yet, so I'm leaving out his username. If it doesn't work out, I'll post his username to show who this gentleman...is. I sent my note on May 31, and we have been talking in letters only for those first two weeks, and anyone who knows how long my posts are must be feeling sorry for the guy...but he kept pace with me, then I added phone time this past week. This was our third week.

I know this seems fast, but within the first two weeks during a four day period we exchanged almost fourty letters.

I've had submissives before, as well as ones who have been friendly bottoms, but none that...um...asked for a hug when I was heading for my car. I turned around and said yes and met him half way...and I felt some vanilla sparkage.

I'm thankful for CollarMe because without CM I wouldn't have met so many nice people in this teeny little flea bite of a town.

Yesssssss. I can't stop smiling too...in spite of all my car trouble that makes me worried about going to the Charleston based munch that will meet in Fayetteville on the 27th.

It's going to be a very long week.

I'll have to check with BOUNTYHUNTER next month to see if SMACK is back on track. Beckley is about half way to where my guy is, so it would be convenient. I found in an old scribble book from about 4 years ago where I wrote the old meetup place and time, the first Saturday of every month. Next month I'll be fixing my car...by ordering off some uber rare part. Ugh. I've given up on getting off the hook by finding it used.

I saw in the threads where someone visited Termyn8or, and that was so...great! I hope to see faces from the CollarMe message boards this year. Maybe yours.

I just have to giggle... last weekend I met my L/d Dom for the first time in... Ripley, WV! Wow, it was great. There's something about being "almost in heaven" in West Virginia!

Lovely name, PrettyJewel. So...there's a lot of us meeting in WV after all. You aren't anywhere near Bluefield, Princeton, Beckley, or Charleston are you? Hello dave...I used to go to Charleston two times per week, sometimes three.

Whenever my vehicle is fixed, and I've had some unexpected ouchie other things come up that required my car fixing money, I will be driving to the Charleston area cuz edible_freud organized a munch group there. Woohoo...you'll have something else to do if you ever visit the folks back at home.

I believe this was addressed to me, but that it was done through fast reply.

Thank you, yellowroses, we need luck. The ninety something miles between us...over the freeway for goodness sake, should take only an hour and twenty minutes, tops, but it takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours each way instead. For a workaholic with only one day off per week, this makes things rough. He will be reducing his work week down to 5 days per week, except when they call him in and he has to go anyway.

Just because he's sweet doesn't mean he's an easy nut to crack open .

I am not sure if our needs are compatible, and I almost gave up on him. Then he opened up a little and explained.
