Is it humiliating to be a woman? I don't think so. So, why is it "humiliating" to wear women's underwear? That's just misogyny, in my book.

It could depend on the particular kind of female attire. There's 'feminine' and there's downright 'girly', for instance. Also, a lot of women's clothing is restrictive in a way that men's seldom is.

Another really simple thing: Kilt-wearers aside, men aren't used to having the easy access to their nether regions that a skirt - particularly a short skirt - provides. Men's tackle is usually a lot better armoured - behind tough trousers or jeans.

Nah - I don't know how strong such arguments are. Besides, if the woman doesn't get off on humiliating a man in that particular way, there's no point to it anyway.

But are you being a bit sensitive here? I didn't interpret her to mean that being a woman was somehow less than being a man, or that forcing a man to wear women's clothes was an inherent attack on feminism.

If someone made their female sub/slave wear a pair of men's steel toe boots, a "wife beater" t-shirt, and a jock strap, I wouldn't view that as an attack on men.

I see where you're coming from, but I just don't think that is what she was implying. You reached a bit, IMO.

I don't think we are being oversensitive, Rochsub. I have dealt with LOTS of men who found being en femme "humiliating" and were aroused by the humiliation, NOT by the glam clothing. I refused to work/play with them. The implication is way too obvious for me, and I see here for lots of other women. My slave wore my underwear sometimes, yes. See, here's the thing...this isn't a "feminist" thing for me and I wasn't trying to make it one for anyone else. If that's how it was taken, so be it. Would I find it humiliating to have to wear a jock strap ...no, just uncomfortable. For the record, I own steel-toed boots and have been know to wear "wife-beater" tees because they're comfortable and I like them. But then, humiliation is NOT my thing on either side.

I gave my personal opinion on why I have a problem with using women's clothing as a punishment (which I wanted to share after reading the post I quoted) and I made a point of saying it wasn't an attack on the person I quoted in particular but instead the idea as something I wanted to address. I agree...it's not where she was coming from which is why I tried to not personalize my response to SamanathaQ but to the concept in general.

To expand on my eariler post in this thread....

I like using woman's clothing as humiliation punishmemt. It puts a man in his place.
