I'm no way a CM "luminaries" however...

I (Merc) am not the one to talk 'tek' about setting something up like that. I'm in 'Management'; meaning my ability is limited to; "Hey - I want this done - do it!". However assuming someone coming to the party can "do it!" and if everyone else it is okay with it; I'm up for setting up a CM webcam at the pool on tomorrow for a video 'meet & greet'.

Maybe we should solicit for a 'webcam slave' to add to the party guest list...

IF there is a webcam it will be off in some corner...and I doubt it will happen as most people here prefer real life

And considering how chilly it is here with the fog...we are just hanging out by the pool drinking and having fun...it just doesn't suck!

Hi folks! Hejira did a webcam thing for Red's birthday recently. It was just a few minutes of going around and saying hello. I was able to toast the birthday girl which was really sweet. If y'all choose to do this, I would love to say hello. (I might even flash somebody - I inadvertently did at Red's.... YES it was inadvertent.) I hadn't even thought of this, but hey.... I've seen that Michael up close and personal... even held a... ummmm.. *blush* one of his pieces of art work.... yeah, that's what we'll call it!

Yes it was Skype. And the great thing was that only people who wanted to say hi and came right up to the camera were seen! It was a really short call (for me)... like 15 minutes, but it meant so much to be able to say hello. It made such an impression I blogged about it... It is such a joy to be able to interact - even if peripherally for a few minutes - and be included. I feel very blessed to have been included.

Anyway, back on topic. Have a grand time, and hug everyone for me, will you?!

Did you really just do that?

Because someone mentioned a webcam..without waiting to work out the details..You were ready to bail on the event or was that you throwing your weight around to get what you want?
