I have a friend who recently discovered a new fetish. He has an interest in being walked all over in order to heighten this fetish, the problem is that he has scoliosis. Does anyone out there know about risks of trampling someone who has scoliosis? The curveture isn't off to the side or anything, it's very mild as far as we can tell, but it causes an arc in his lower region.
Is there a safe way he can explore this fetish?
Advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

When you are trampling soemone, you are not walking on their spine. You also have to be carful in the area of the kidney's. This would be in the area of which you speak of the mild curvature. As I have trampled several with a spine curvature, I have not had any problems. This item was discussed before we did anything. Since it's a very mild form, nothing should be a problem. With that said, he needs to be very aware of the steps the person does so he knows how his body will react. So, the first person needs to be someone well trusted so as to go slowly and know what each step does for him.

It's not much but I hope it helps a bit..

Respectfully,
sultry

greeting

Your friend is playing a very dangerous game with his back
he may have mild form but with someone walking on his back,
he could very well injure his back even more, When someone have
scoliosis the sense in our backs in very heighten. I find my back is
so senous and if someone touches me there i am on fire and i do believe
this is do to my scoliosis. How does he know if he has a mild formor not? He
should have a MRI to check this out with this back disoder you can misplace
the disk in your back and that can be so painful. Now this walking he is thinking of
i hope before he does this, I hope he will get a whole checkup and MRI scan
and this will show how strong or how weak the disk are. I hope you friend thinks
this through before he does this. I bit a pleasure is not worth not walking again I will
not let anyone even bump in my back!

bes wishes
mons/jane

Thanks for the help!
he hasn't done it and no plans to do so are in the works...yet. it depends on what advice we find about it in order for him to have a plan if he can enjoy this fetish.
we just wanted to see if anyone else out there had any experience with this and if it was something he could do or if it is something best left to fantasy for him...and he is willing to leave it to fantasy if we don't find a way for him to explore it safely.
Another question that came up was, could he possibly do this lying on his back? do people get trampled on the front of the body? The top he would be plaing with that i know does have a bar to hold onto and does it very slowly and carefully...i've seen her myself, but, it is new and we are asking for the sublities of this play.
(like i said, this is a new discovery for them,  I have no experience with it, so...here we are asking the people we know that can help them decide.)

and thanks, REALLY!!!
I asked on another forum and got nothing but attitude about it. i guess it was too late for them to have the "lets help instead of show how smart ass we are" hats on,
hugzzz,
me

I have rather severe 2-dimensional scoliosis (curvature side-to-side & front-to-back), and suffer nearly continuous back pain. One thing I used to very much like was having my daughter walk on my back, however I would be very leary of allowing anybody weighing more than 30-40 lbs do so.
What I would suggest he do first is to see a chiropractor, and see what he says and if both his doctor and the chiro think its ok, then see if there isn't an oriental massage practitioner who does the Japanese "walking-on-the-back" thing (sorry, I just can't think of the term for it, I want to say shiatsu, but I know that is NOT it).
That way he would be able to determine, in a very controlled environment if there is any real pain involved in being trampled. In addition, I would suggest that whoever is likely to be the trampler should look into learning a bit about it as well.
Assuming the scoliosis is not to severe, and that everybody goes slow and easy to test the waters so to speak, all should be well. However, and this I cannot stress enough, the risks of forging ahead without first making very VERY certain first are more than just pain or discomfort....paralysation is a distinct possibility.
So I 2nd Mons' words of caution.

(as an aside to mons...I have never noticed the heightened sensitivity that you mentioned, so it may not be related to scoliosis, or it may have to do with a nerve being pinched or irritated as a result of the curvature)

scolioses if mild, just means that the spine is growing slightly different, i would imagine it has more or less the same effects as walking on anyways back as i was informed (befor my scoliosis opporation, man you enjoy knife play, try waking up in during surgary after having two metal rods in your back to straighten your spine lol i was not a happy bunny but anyway) that actualy almost every everyone has some slight curve if noticable or not, if it is more severe then i would definatly and to be honest even if it is not severe consult at least their local doctor first,

I'm the parent of a teenager with double curvature 2D scoliosis. My son is *big* into wrestling. I know that we often make trips to the family doctor regarding the wrestling having messed with the scoliosis or the scoliosis interferring with the wrestling. We have an awesome family doctor. If my son walked in there and said "Hey, I want a lady to trample on my back, what do you think?" our doctor would sit down and talk about the risks. I think being open (as much as possible) with the physician who's working with the back problem, is the best route.

Honesty with the one doing the trampling is vital also. Your friend should let the lady know he has scoliosis, and maybe even point out where his curvature lies.

Trampling can also be done on parts of the body that don't affect the spine & surrounding areas at all. (Thighs, calves, arms, etc...)
