Well, I was a slave in my last relationship (though my Master was a man, not a woman) and still have the femsub playpartner who I was involved with while he and I were in a relationship. Most of the time, she and I played separately, but sometimes I hurt her while he hurt me. It was yummy. I'm not specifically "that type" of switch, though, it just fit the dynamic in that particular situation. In others, I've topped and bottomed to the same person within the same scene without any power dynamic whatsoever, or was a Domme or a submissive in a monogamous/no-outside-play relationship. It all depends on the interaction with the other person/people.
