I have never heard anything like this in my life until last night. "You can get more out of [Termy] by asking than taking" Everyone agreed. How many have gotten one liner compliments off the cuff like that ? And I can't just blow this off. I mean like "You can always count on ......... to ..........". Things like that. Or doesn't anyone else notice these things ? T

dunno, I was never noticable before I guess.... I mean there were lots of people who didn't like me, but rarely was I mentioned unless it was a comment directly to me. Lately however anytime someone see's a Pinocchio Tattoo above a Cock I get mentioned...... I guess I would enjoy being mentioned when I'm not there.... Kinda gives you the warm fuzzies. QSM

I think the most honest off-the-cuff compliment I ever received was from my then 11-year old nephew to his then 8-year old sister (they are 19 and 16 now). He said: "Everyone needs someone like Aunt____. Someone you can tell anything to and know she won't get mad or think bad about you or tell on you or anything." How awesome was that? I don't think I've ever been so flattered, humbled, choked up, and so many other things at once...

One of the moms at school said to me "Miss Grouchylunchlady, you are always so helpful and kind, and its not even like you are faking it or anything!"
