Instead of being carefully put back in their box and stored under the bed, my favorite pair of boots was put somewhere they weren't supposed to be. They were bent in half and then a bunch of heavy stuff was placed on top of them. So now there are big ugly creases around the ankles.

Does anyone have ideas about how the creases can be either eliminated, or at least fixed enough to be as un-noticeable as possible?

Ii would try standing them up with maybe hangers(metal bent into forms) or boot inserts in the bathroom to steam them and to wear them a bit at home. If they are good quality it may work. Also look for a shoe repair and ask them,best of luck ~ jewels

I would steam them in the bathroom, put them on and carefully (very carefully and don't get too close) use a blow dryer while smoothing them.
