But isn't this just like any other company that is trying to make a profit ? Fair enough BP has been caught out, it has become responsible for a disaster that isn't going away, but if this disaster happened to BP which company is next, for they all cut corners in search of profit, it is the nature of business.

What are you trying to argue here?

That corruption is the nature of business and that we should just accept that?

Sorry, but there are businesses that operate ethically and those that do not need to be held accountable.

I wish people would stop calling Amoco's subsidiary "British Petroleum". It's a good twenty years since they last used that name.

I hope their constituents are aware of Obama's strongarming.

You are a fucking idiot. With every post you just drive the point deeper.

You would obviously like to see everyone holding the bag for this disaster but the people responsible for this negligent act.

It must really suck to be you.

You are a koolaid drinking moron...obviously more moronic with every post.

You would obviously like to see anyone/everyone held accountable for this disaster except the people responsible for the negligent acts of granting BP two safey-standard waviers on the platform that exploded, both within a year of the explosion and the second one just two weeks before the explosion, and not waiving the Jones Act immediately after the explosion in order to utilize available foreign resources to limit the spread of and clean up the spill.

Have another big koolaid.

RacistJim would like the taxpayers to clean up the mess instead of the negligent company responsible.

Way to go asshat.
