I thought it might be a good thing to give people a source for learning about the offshore energy business via one of the leading industry magazines. I know a lot of you are deeply upset over the BP disaster in the Gulf, and my aim here is to give you a way to learn about this industry....from its' technology to its' business to its' role in world energy production.

"OFFSHORE" is not a "rah-rah us!!" magazine....it is one we in the industry read monthly to catch up on business news and technology. My hope is that if you read it, you will find things that might teach you a bit about the technology and help you understand the issues - and the incredible advances made in this industry as well as its' failures. I don't expect anyone to change their position on anything....but I do hope you'll take a look. The magazine's site is updated regularly.
