So I wanted to post this here because it is about a Femdom/Girlie-boy relationship and how things -can- work out if you find the right Dominant person and are the right submissive for that person. We get so much fantasy wish fulfillment about forced fem and crossdressing and such here in the Mistress' forum that I think it is important to highlight when it does work out. [:)] Not trying to change anyone's preferences, just showing that Femdom Girlie-boy dynamics do exist and they work pretty well when both parties are into them. <3 I have had the most wonderful weekend! [:)] My Lady wife and I attended Thunder here in Denver. I spent the entire weekend presenting en'femme, starting on Friday where my wife treated me to a haircut and style at a TG friendly salon. It was a wonderful experience, very pampering. My hair is long at the bottom of my shoulder blades, and Hana gave me some sweeping bangs and fat curls, plus ideas for styling it better myself. My Lady sat in the chair next to me and had her hair cut and styled too! It was...a seminal moment. One of those moments that yes, even I have fantasized about and I love Her so much for doing it for me! A wonderful sushi lunch followed where fewer eyes registered my difference. I blame the stylist. [;)] The kink community tends to be one of pretty deep acceptance of TG folk and the conference took over the whole hotel, so it was kinky people everywhere. In that environment, I feel completely comfortable. Eyes that register my difference are by and large friendly eyes and so I am at ease. My Lady and I were "two girls in a hotel room" and that is a pretty fabu experience as we orchestrated our dance around getting dressed and having time at the makeup mirror and still getting out the door in time for the morning seminar. Evenings were spent in fetish clothes, which I love love love, and so I got to bust out my corsets, velvet skirts, flirty short skirts, and some heels and boots. YAYs! The event was, as always, just a feast of information, incredible seminars, marvelous vendors, amazing people...and a 40,000+ sqft dungeon space with more than 65 stations. Some amazing scenes took place. Last year at this event, I was one of just a few TG people running around during the day and this year I was pleased to see 4 or 5 other folk openly presenting and seeming very comfortable too. The kink community is part of my "tribe" and so it is always for me a friendly environment and spending time there, in my environment, expressing my authenticity was very very needed and nourishing to my soul. Thank you for posting this, Otters. I really do wish more people would post on their positive experiences of going places and doing things. I know events like Thunder aren't for everyone, but it's encouraging to have things like you posted here for those who are considering going someday. I'm glad you had a great time. i hope to be able to attend thunder with my Mistress one year and be able to meet you otter. it makes me remember my first big event domcon in Atlanta so much to do and learn and everyone just accepts you. im glad you had such a wonderful time.

Indeed, it was a wonderful time. I wish we had gotten more pics. The event has pretty strict rules around camera use, and taking pics with a messy hotel room as the background just didn't seem acceptable. We tried a few, but 'eh', I don't know that they were very good. <shrug> I did buy a new waist-cincher in a rich, vibrant blue, with small delicate flowers. (brocade) It was such a delight to wear some of my fetish clothes that I haven't fit into for 5 years. (This whole www.transformation.com method of tackling getting back into shape is really doable.) I'm not really an attention whore, I just like to feel sexy - it encourages me to feel powerful. I loved Midori's, 'Predicament Bondage' seminar, and Tony Buff/Derek de Silva's, 'Needles for Bondage' - HOLY YUM! John Pendal did a great talk on, "Pain is Inevitable....Suffering is Optional", explaining neurotransmitters and how to control/block pain. It completely tied in with my recent reading about the mind/body connection. As Otter said, we have gotten quite good at the 'two girls in a hotel room' and aren't tripping over each other anymore. Such fun to design sexy outfits together! LP and clip - you were missed, but we are hoping for future dinner and socialization!!! Lady Hib - of course, we'd love to have you there, too! Peon - no king-size floggers here. I'm too lazy and then they become too heavy. I much prefer to make him wiggle from the cane or the little, bitty, tiny, MISERY STICK! YUM Really, you should try one! NOTE: Pitch for why to have a girlie-boy. 1. All the good manly traits like carrying the luggage, packing the car, etc. 2. He remembers to pack my perfume, hosiery, and complete toiletry ensemble along with the makeup mirror. 3. He loves to unpack and arrange it all when we get to the hotel room. Yes, of course I'm perfectly capable of doing it all myself, but having a bit of a summer cold, it was so nice to have him happily doing it for me. 4. A wonderful shopping partner. I pick the purchase, he takes care of the payment exchange. (no, not the same as funding - just the act of exchange, and hauling the loot). Wishing you all a fabulous week,

I want to to Thunder... it's one of those big events that I am ALWAYS sorry to miss. And Midori! The weekend I got to be her roadie was SO FUN!!
