Wilbur,

I don't know ,  maybe it has something to do with things like Google stock options now worth 30 million dollars.

Are you "pretty sure" of that, like you were "pretty sure" most of it came from Daddy? If you are "pretty sure" about the 30 milliion, why dont you tell us where you are "pretty sure" the other $70 or so million came from.

You mean other than Daddy's money that paid for the stocks sitting in the blind trust.

You show it is something else.  Your the one making other suggestions.

Fail.

Blind Trusts are part of the required disclosure of net worth. $1-$2 million.

$98 million since he left office. Now let me think, what exactly has he done for most of the time since he left office. Hmmmmm.

Let me think.

Did it have anything to do with a snowstorm?

Polite,

I'll even spot him this article from the business mag Fast Company.
http://www.fastcompany.com/node/60067/print

Al has certainly been a busy man when it came to making the money.  Getting in at Google and those stock options turning into $30 million was a good start.  Another $6 million or so from Apple stock options he received for work there plus the cable start up that is already booming money.  All of which have nothing to do with  his book, movie, or speaking fees.

The truth is that Al turned into a very astute business man when he left office.  The real question is why does anybody care.  Why are all of these right wing blogs going nuts over it?

I didnt ask you to Google that. I just asked if you were "pretty certain", like you were "pretty certain" that "most of it" came from his father. Which of course tell us how valuable your certainty on the topic is.

I asked where the other $70 million came from, numbnuts.

flcouple2009 -> RE: Al Gore's troubles worsen, two more women come forward. (7/23/2010 7:20:58 PM)

Awwww what''s wrong little wilbur.

Truthfully yep, I thought he had just invested Daddy's money well.

But that doesn't let you and others off the hook for trying to suggest something shady.  That oohhh Al made a fortune by pushing a global warning hoax and movie.

Question again.  Why does anyone care and why are all of the right wing bloggers in an uproar over it?

Al Gore's been a clownish caricature of the worst kind of "send money" televangelist ever since he got that gig preaching hellfire and damnation via global warming.

"CHANGE your evil ways, sinner! "

A whole lot less clownish [sic] then almost all hypocrites that go after their new favorite whipping boy about whom we hear and read almost nothing but lies.

But hey...the real truth is not what these blogs are after. Just more ridiculous, childish really, partisan cheap shots.

popeye1250 -> RE: Al Gore's troubles worsen, two more women come forward. (7/28/2010 11:07:09 PM)

On the news last night they said that police from Washington state flew to San Francisco to interview Mr Gore.
That can't be good.

popeye1250 -> RE: Al Gore's troubles worsen, two more women come forward. (7/30/2010 5:00:50 PM)

Well, they just said on the news that Al Gore would not be charged!
His office said that the situation was "resolved."
"How much?"

Lucylastic -> RE: Al Gore not being charged (7/30/2010 5:39:06 PM)

http://www.koinlocal6.com/content/news/breakingnews/story/Al-Gore-cleared-of-sex-assault-allegations-in/4oo3pev_P0y4vGiZWBd5sA.cspx

Multnomah County District Attorney Michael D. Schrunk issued a statement summarizing the deficiencies in the case:

1. Ms. Hagerty, who has red hair, states she called Mr. Gore immediately following the alleged incident and told him to "dream of redheaded women" seemingly in contradiction to her assertions that she was terrified of Mr. Gore. Two days after the alleged incident Ms. Hagerty also sent an email to the Hotel Lucia stating that she appreciated the business referrals she received from the hotel. She did not mention any problem with Mr. Gore;

2. Witnesses at the hotel where the alleged incident occurred state they do not remember seeing or hearing anything unusual---directly contradicting Ms. Hagerty's published claim in the July 12, 2010 of the National Enquirer that she was "shaking and in shock" and "rushed down the hall and to the lobby where the front desk clerk noticed she was upset was asked if she was OK";
3. Forensic testing of pants retained by Ms. Hagerty as possible evidence are negative for the presence of seminal fluid;
4. Ms. Hagerty has not provided as repeatedly requested medical records she claims are related to the case;
5. Ms. Hagerty has also failed to provide other records related to the case; document.write(''); document.write(''); var debugadcode = ''; debugadcode = debugadcode.replace(/\' \+ HPAds.ads_client_side_qvs\(\) \+ \';/gi,HPAds.ads_client_side_qvs()); document.write(debugadcode); 6. Ms. Hagerty failed a polygraph examination; 7. It appears Ms. Hagerty was paid by the National Enquirer for her story; and 8. Mr. Gore voluntarily met with detectives and denied all of the allegations.

mnottertail -> RE: Al Gore not being charged (7/31/2010 6:09:59 AM)

Well I see the media headlines now.

JUDGE MUCKENFUTCH RULES THAT AL GORE IS GAY!!!!

then they will go on to state a little closer to the reality of the situation (as above in Lucys post), and many folks will walk away claiming the article is sufficient proof of the fact that he is gay.  Guess who those folks are gonna be?

So, the possibility that she manufactured this for monetary compensation never occurred to you as a valid possibility?

Jeffff -> RE: Al Gore's troubles worsen, two more women come forward. (7/31/2010 6:32:50 AM)

Gore obviously made a deal.

He is going to fix their climate problems if they will only look the other way over this.......incident.

Lucylastic -> RE: Al Gore's troubles worsen, two more women come forward. (7/31/2010 6:55:51 AM)

Yep, they were of course coerced into dropping charges ,,,,,  promised no carbon taxes for the dept, backhanders, etcetc, global warming is the biggest hoax out there and gore is a rampaging blank-shooting molester of innocent women everywhere, we are just blind to the secwet twuth.
Politicians are mostly despicable Gore is far from being an angel but guilty of assault? doesnt look like it.
