And Lolita I do have to give it to you. You have been through losing someone you love....but ya know....you had a few days which is completely understandable but you are moving on, you are planning a trip instead of just putting yourself down I am very proud of the way you have been handling it all.

Very well put, my Sageling. What most don't think about is that people read these forum posts when they look at your profile. If the first posts they see consist of, I'm lonely, I'm bored, I can't meet someone, I'm tired..etc.. That is their first impression.

Life only changes, if you make it.. no one walks up to your door and hands you one...it sucks..but that is reality.

Sorry if I pissed in everyone cherrios but sometimes I feel like I am spining wheels.

If you want my advise or opinions I am always ready to listen and offer such....but frankly Im done feeding peoples low self esteem...it drains me.

each and everyone one of you know I all lub you in unique and special ways.
And I quite agree with Andrea about forum posters.....I am proof of the success that sometimes these forums can be the best place to find someone... I know this because I have...and no I will not name any names...to me this is personal and I wish it to stay that way.

And you are right. People do spend way to much time feeling sorry for themselves, instead of finding things to do and people to spend time with.

Is it really so damn hard to ask someone if they would like to go for coffee? No, it is not. What is the worst that could happen? They say "NO." Well, SO FREAKING BE IT! Go to the damn coffee shop by yourself, get yourself a cuppa coffee and sit down, and lo and behold, you will likely meet someone there.

And if you do not? Well, you did get a cup pf coffee out of the whole thing, so life cannot be that bad. And before I hear about how you, "Don't like coffee." Give me a break, those places sell other things! Tea, juices, chai, soda, italian sodas, pastries, etc. Just pick something.

And who knows, if you make it a habit, others might notice you and decide to open a dialogue.

Let me ask you people, when you walk down the street, do you smile at people? When you are driving do you wave at other drivers and pedistrians? Do you compliment people's dogs? Or do you instead, walk around with a pissed off look on your face, staring at the concrete four feet in front of your feet?

I like to meet new people. I like to talk to people. I am also an introvert. So I make a choice, to be open, pleasent, and willing to take a chance. Ya know what, it works really well. I have also made sure that my listening skills are effective, and that I have topics that I can and will discuss.

All you have to do is to be willing to strike up a conversation. Yes, there is the possibily that the person will not want to talk to you. SO BE IT! Move on. Who knows what is going on with them. But if you are open and friendly and make it damn plain that you do indeed like people, it is unlikely that they will tell you to Fuck Off! And if they do, so what? Just say have a nice day, and move along.

Step away from the computer and stop the cry-baby attitude of "Nobody likes me, everybody hates me." Because really. . . if that is your attitude, than please oh PLEASE go eat your damn worms. Nobody wants to hear it.

The people on this forum are supportive. They care. But it gets fucking wearing to always hear that you are having a bad day, and never a good one.

Sure, I post complaints. . . this is the complaint thread, after all. . . but I do not expect to be taken so seriously about them.

Life is good.

Try having a really tough life. . . .like not being able to afford a place to live or your computer that you are so co-dependent on. How about not being able to walk, or not being able to see? There is always someone worse off than you.

This is not to say that there is nothing that you can do to improve your life, but for gawds sake, do NOT KEEP BITCHING ABOUT IT AFTER PEOPLE HAVE REPEATEDLY GIVEN YOU THE SAME ADVISE.

In the army, when people did the same things over and over that did not work. . . we called that military stupidity. I do not know what it is called in civillian life. . . but it is obviously not an effective action! Choose another. Give it at least two tries. If it still does not work. . . choose another. . . and continue until you do find something that works.

But trust me. . . bitching, whining, moaning, complaing, and being an eight year old cry-baby has not worked so far, it will not work, so just give it a freaking rest. Find something to be happy about. . . even if it is something small. Wow, I saw a pretty flower today. Wow, can you believe that LaMalinche actually posted sappy poetry? That is so funny.

I am finished. . . my mailbox is always open. Thank you for the inspiration Sage. . . I had not realized that it was time again for my pissiness.

I love you all dearly. . . thank you for putting up with the sappy poems and the reams of quotes.

I have a complaint.

I read a thread about nipple ring migration the other day....now I swear mine are moving.. I am not positive..but they look to be...so now I check them every day..maybe several times a day....just to make sure..... OCD..and threads like that.. do not make a good combination.

I always appreciate your thoughts....and say it much better than I do because I normally am such a passive person.

I will tell you what gets me though my days.....my goal each day is to make someone feel just a little bit better. I am a strong believer in Random Acts of Kindness...if you are having a pissy day....when you go to the store give the person in front of you a fiver...and pay for a little bit of goodies. If someone has fallen.....pick them up. If someone has died....comfort the living.
By doing these things you replace the heaviness of your heart with the feeling of worth.

I raised my children to adulthood with my wise words of.....no one is better than yourself....even is you seemly hate yourself...guess what deep down there is good..

Sometimes doing for others is better than worrying about yourself...

This is how I live and this is how I cope.

So hey.....and I dont remember who exactly said it last night.....buy a beer for the drunk on the corner.

But by all means.....say pick one day a month....for just wallowing. I can deal with that :)

I know it's silly..but I can't help it.. my eyebrow one that..migrated out..now I see myself with a torn up little nipple..and that just..well.. yuck.

So, rather than throwing myself over small rocks..lol... I will take a digital every day Sage...and send it to you... that way you can help me keep an eye on them. If you see a change, please be sure to let me know. This way my OCD can have a bit of a rest....

I know this is a little late in coming, but had to take a moment to gather my thoughts.

I want to thank Sage for that very very kind thread. I also wanted to thank everyone else for understanding when i needed to take a few hours to myself. Also for being so patient. You know i love you all dearly.
