I did this too Wanawana... I was a nursing assist.. My mom is a nurse, I literally grew up in hospitals or in nursing homes. I hated the death part, it's the worst. I always wondered how the families felt when I would cry with them, or hug them, not stay detached. I worried I was invading their grief, or something. Then when I lost someone very close to me, the nicest thing a stranger did..what what a nurse did... she cried with me, hugged me, and shared my loss. It's hard to give ourselves away like this, but the reverse is the cold-hearted and withdrawn healthcare workers I have known throughout my life. It's a very fine line, hard to walk on, and Bless you for doing it. ~Andrea
