sigh Ah the life of a 50/50 switch. Some days I get interested subs contacting me, sometimes Doms, but rarely another 50/50 or even a 70/30 shows up. Some of those subs and Doms sound positively interesting and in some cases exciting, but the problem is that they can't satisfy my sense of duality in power relationships. At the same time I turned my back on any kind of play outside of a relationship so I'm kind of stuck not being able to say shack up with a sub guy for a boyfriend and then go off to play with a Dom now and then. I've really painted myself into a corner it seems.

You'll find someone, just keep looking. Relationships take time and finding that special person is certainly worth it all. ~Lashra

I can sympathize but from a very different angle. One day I wish to domme a female, the next day a male. Its difficult arranging when I don't know from day to day whether I will prefer an "inny or an outy". :)

It is tough for certain. I have been in situations where I am worshipping a 'Mistress' only to CRAVE taking her. It is pure HELL and very much a buzz-killing conundrum for certain. Nothing like adoring a sexy pair of legs and wanting DESPERATELY to have your way with that same individual. It goes beyond craving. More like fighting one's first guess/impression. One lady (a Bettie Page type) recognized it early on and actually played up herself in submissive postions while still keeping me at a distance though her commands or pressing her soft nyloned feet to my pecs pushing me back gingerly. DEFINITELY one of my best memories. Funny how I never had an internal conflict the other way (Meeting a sub and wanting her to DOM me...)

DEFINITELY one of my best memories. Wow. That is crazy hot. Holding on to that moment must have been delicious. Nothing like struggling to maintain your self-control to heat up the ole libido. :)
