Hello all. I am new here and new to the lifestyle. Let me first tell you all about myself.

I am 31 years old and have spent most of my life knowing inside that I need to serve women.   I never admitted it, to anyone. In fact, I did just the opposite. I became a business owner with lots or employees to order around all day.

Recently, I have made the decision to take the plunge and find a Mistress that I can devote my life to.   Once I find the "Right" Domme, I will give my mind and body to her 100%.

Ok, enough about me...   Here is my question...

I have been looking through profiles and see that alot of Dommes have listed "Hypnosis" as one of their fetishes.   What does this mean and how do you feel about it?

Also, what exactly is "Collaring"

Welcome to the boards Sarah. It's nice to see that you're starting the search for what's right for you and asking questions to learn more.

I don't do hypnosis, so I can't offer any input there.

Collaring is different for everyone. Hopefully lots of people will give you lots of different points of view. For me personally, when I collar a submissive, it means that he or she now "belongs" to me. It means no one else in the lifestyle is allowed to touch or play with that person without my permission. It means that the sub and I have a mutual and consensual understanding that I am in charge of them.
Collars themselves are symbolic, like a wedding ring. It might be a necklace, anklet, or an actual collar (like one would see on an animal). For me, a collar is accompanied by a contract (at least for a while) that lists out the rules, roles, responsibilities, and obligations, of both parties.
That's a real brief description. As others give you their individual versions, you'll probably start to get at least a general idea.

Down old bear, down....

Don't worry too much about Iron bear snapping at you, he gets grumpy at times, but he is a veritable wellspring of good information.
As far as hypnosis, i want nothing to do with it, as I stated in the other thread. Now a collar....well the details will differ with each dominant and each submissive, but basicly it is what The Proprietrix (God I love that nickname!!! it just needs the capitalised "The" in front of it

) said, when one is collared then one belongs to the one doing the collaring. Exactly what that means in terms of who does what and what rights each has is something to be worked out by the parties involved, but the basic of collar=owned is pretty much universally accepted.

Dear sarah,

If you have a particular fetish you truly and deeply wish to explore ( be it hypnosis, feminization, CBT, or growing avocados from your belly button[said to be absurd... I don't think anyone is out there doing that...]) , find someone mutually experienced and interested in you and your "kinks". Be sure your Dominant understands you, your experience level, and your limits. (If she doesn't care about any of the above, say goodbye and move along.) Then be careful, take it slow, be careful some more, don't rush yourself, be careful yet again, and....enjoy.
