For about a month I have been unable to access the chatrooms on CM,is there a problem with the system,or whats going on?

what does support say?  I have been in the video chatrooms a couple times, doesnt seem to be a problem, has someone kicked you maybe?  look at your cmails, but that is something you should ask support, because I am a programmer and dont even understand how their shit works here.

so, we never got to this, you mean the irc chatrooms right?   can you cmail the room owner where you usually go, see whats going on, may not be a support issue at all, might be some room operator got the fuckin ass at you, and whacked your shit.

The irc chatrooms,like Torture Palace,and the rest. I can't get the chat rooms page to load at all.Do not know how to contact anyone except support,they are non responsive.

You may wish to recheck your records.

Click the chatroom link on the personals side.  If the screen goes white and stays white, hit your refresh key.  Make sure your firewalls, antivirus (particularly norton and zonealarm) and security levels are set to allow access.  Make sure you are allowing all popups.  If you are using Firefox, make sure third party cookies are enabled.

A window will pop up in the middle of the large white area of the screen giving you the list of chatrooms.

SInce you have only been a member a little over a month, it appears your problems started immediately. Please follow 21's suggestions to the letter, if you still have problems, please feel free to cmail me directly for more support. If it DOES solve your problems, it would be nice if you put here your problem is solved, that way the site knows your problem has been solved, and therefore would not appear non responsive.

edited to add: its nice to see some other dominates in Alabama![sm=pineapple.gif]

Ive gone to the old chat rooms, but its been awhile. The "new' rooms may be only new to me cause I just got high speed net (ok I just joined the 20th century when everyone else is moving into the 21st) how do check out profiles while still in the room been having a time with that?

Open a new window or tab and look there if you are going in through the site entrance. If you are using a client like mirc, open up your internet browser and go to our search page and input the name.

The chat room I think is a java format, my computer right now has issues running java programs or anything relating to that. So no chat, no explanations for niche kinks when I click on them, but this is due to something I did to my computer involving proxies. So maybe check that your computer is completely updated and that the java client you have installed is the latest update...I think it's up to version 6 now.

I have the JRE (Java Runtime Environment--a free download from Sun Microsystems) and this allows me to see the chatrooms and view other java content on the Web). Today I see a blank page. The JRE was updated last week. There may be a connection, or it may just be that a server is down somewhere.

Well a server being down would affect everyone and so far it seems to be just you. I would suggest a thorough cleaning of your computer, spyware and registry errors have done stranger things.

If you don't have them, get a spyware scanner I use spybot search and destroy on a 3 day schedule update/scan at around 10am while i'm still asleep, so it rids my comp of all its filth like tracking cookies and adware.

It is also very important that you get a registry cleaner, I use CC cleaner, typical program and if you haven't used one you will be impressed by how many gigs of misc data are lodged in your computer. If after 3 days I accrue 5 gigs of misc date I can only imagine what others may have out there.

If after all that the chat does not work then it may have to do with other factors that I am unaware of.

The chatrooms now function on Flash, not java.
