Ok. You are out with a friend for dinner. What is the most annoying thing he/she could possibly do? i have several: being rude to the waitress/waiter talking on the cell phone for more than a minute smoking at the table tipping low Ah, i feel better now. Who's next?

People who drag their teeth over their utensils. Clicking their utensils on the dish as they eat. Licking the spoon (unless it's a flirt or icecream [;)]) Shoveling the food in like it's a race

Sweet, Really like your list, so I stole most of it from you. Don't like it? We now have a thread for that. Poor manners (Although if it's a friend, I would know in advance, and not take them out) Small talk (the clichéed kind) Having the cell phone turned on, or not on silent (not a cell phone fan, although I do have one) Tipping undeservedly low (I've been a waiter and managed restaurants long enough, I know when someone deserves a smack!) To tell the truth, when either Chris or I go out with friends, we know all their little annoying habits; because we know them, we don't let them bother us. I am not out with them to critique them; I am with them for company.

Any loud bodily function that is then laughed about heartily by the offender. Talking on the cell phone... a quick 30 second call is OK, but if you have someone that is more important than my company then go spend time with them. Someone that tries to joke with the waitstaff when they are obviously disinterested.

The list is endless LOL.... but had issues with this yesterday, so I'll limit it to that. Bitching about your meal endlessly. Speaking loudly to get an overworked (but still good natured) waitress' attention, joking about leaving her no tip. I told my co-workers that I'd be eating alone from now on, they can whine, be rude (and smack and slurp and suck their teeth together, the useless shits lol) Level

Unbehaved children are the worst followed by cell phones in a close second. It really irks me when the children break something or do something -really- bad and the parents laugh in the 'aw isn't that SO cute?!' way. I will never be a waitress again lol.

The things that annoy Me most are: Sending the food back more than two times with petty complaints Chatting on the cell phone Poor table manners (e.g. pushing food onto fork with fingers--don't laugh, a sub I interviewed actually did this!) Drinking excessively Lady Topaz

Yep... Cell Phone Kids Mouth open while chewing. But it's ok to talk while chewing, just not huge chucks, or if they cover their mouth to answer a question Rudeness: Both to me, other customers, waitresses (Not tipping properly or at all) Constantly talking and not knowing when to shut up and let the other person talk. Eating off my plate...unless they just wanna taste it to see what it tastes like that's fine. Checking out the chic in the booth across from us, or behind, or in front.....or the waitress...or flirting constantly with the others... Loud burping or farting. Dirty hands...which is just more like a general thing too but I mean...clean when you go to dinner...that includes elbows and other things.. When they use their fingers to push the food that gets stuck between their gums into their mouth...that's just disgusting. Lol I HATE that. Just gross.

One thing that annoys me is when someone says he is a "dominate Master"...now, maybe I just don't understand wtf that means but dominate is a verb not an adjective...at least in my dictionary. Enlighten me anyone?
