I have heard that it is possible to induce a male to lactate; don't know if that is a fact, however, if it is, is that something that anyone has heard that a domme may desire?

I didn't think it was possible either, but indeed it is.  Until puberty, males and females are virtually the same.  When the male hormone testosterone takes off and the more masculine attributes are apparent, the mammary glands become "dormant" in males.   With proper stimulation, breast pumping and suckling plus herbs such as domperidone and possibly female hormones or oxytocin or prolactin, it is possible to induce lactation in males.
As part of the feminization process, a Domme may want to do this to her submissive.

I asked my german doctor slave and he says that it is possible if the slave takes the correct hormones i dont think it would be a very sensible thing to do though.

Men lactating is fairly high on my squick list. Enough so that I wouldn't watch a lactating boy scene going on in the public dungeon.
Though I respect that some people might enjoy it, and they can have at.

Yes men can lactate.  At least that is what I've been told from scientific sources.

It's assumed that from an evolutionary standpoint it's a natural fail safe incase all the women in a tribe of humans were to be wiped out and a child required breast feeding.

The hormone prolactin is responsible for the production of breast milk.  However high levels of this hormone are also associated with the development of prolactinomas (ie. Tumors of the pituitary gland (brain tumor)). 

Estrogen can increase the prolactin levels, but guys don't make enough of that to cause much of a spike in the prolactin levels to the point where lactation is typically possible. 

Some trans women have managed it so long as they have grown adequate mammary tissue and are on a sufficiently high enough dose of estrogen to cause prolactin to signal milk production to start.

The way I've heard of males being able to lactate is to stimulate the production of prolactin and eventually breast milk by  regularily stimulating the nipples.  But I've never seen it work so it's just something I heard on a science show once.  Basically theory without any real practice.
