I use pantine pro v, but then just about everything leaves my hair soft and silky. Even cheap  97 cent shampoo's.

And for my hair, it's pricy as hell, but I live for Wen Haircare. Leaves my long red hair ridiculously soft and luxurious.

I have skin so sensitive that everything I use (clothing detergent, soap, dryer sheets, etc) has to be perfume and dye free, or I break out horribly and get constant yeast infections. I've had a doctor check it out, and I'm perfectly healthy, just real sensitive. Dove for Sensitive Skin has never ever bothered me. Aveeno Natural Oatmeal Body Cleanser is fine for me too, even between my legs.

And for my hair, it's pricy as hell, but I live for Wen Haircare. Leaves my long red hair ridiculously soft and luxurious.

A friend of mine had the same problem with yeast infections, her OB gyn recommended using garlic like a tampon (make sure you have a thread attached to it, works well with a needle and a thicker thread) or a syringe and bio yogurt, a bit messy though.

We use dial with no problems. But different people are allergic to different things. And home made soap, at its base is lye. And that is very corrosive.

Homemade soap has a cure time of 4-6 weeks, which allows the lye to dissipate. Properly made homemade soap can be the gentlest around. You should be able to find some good choices at your local health food store. The price per bar may be higher than commercially prepared soaps, but it will last longer, as it's *real*  *true* soap (sorry, couldn't resist.)

Most commercially prepared cosmetic products are NOT good for your skin. Body and Bath products are no exception; check out the ingredients.

Here is a recipe for an all natural shower gel:

5 ounces pure liquid soap
5 ounces vegetable glycerin
2 ounces almond oil for dry skin or if you have hard water You can substitute any carrier oil (olive, apricot kernel, grapeseed) that you choose.
10 drops of essential oil of your choice

All of the above items should be found at your local health food store. Just mix all ingredients well.

Those are really interesting suggestions. But... no thank you! LOL. Thankfully if I EAT yogurt once or twice a day and use perfume/dye-free stuff, I'm pretty much ok. I do occasionally fret that I get irritated easily wearing any kind of underwear other than bikini-cut cotton (no lacey/kinky stuff for me unless it's coming off real fast), but otherwise as long as I'm careful I avoid anything more than a mild itch every now and then.

Just bear them in mind, sometimes swimming pools or stress can cause yeast infections, I am not too prone to them but suffer from them occasionally, I first was also a bit like "I should do WHAT?" after trying them, I was surprised, I now use them whenever I get a bad infection (sinuses are a major problem) and they put me on antibiotics, usually causes all sorts of other problems in the lower regions...
