Is no-one even going to give that so much as a 'lol'?  All right, it wasn't exactly a moment of pure comedy gold, but surely it's worth a titter at least?  You're all ungrateful bastards.  Fack off.

I thought it was brilliantly funny, considering you are from Bristol.

Regards from a true safh lannoner.

Cheers, PS!  Have I told you that, these days, your avatar makes you look less like Bob Hoskins and more like Lord Byron every time I see it?

I tell them the best tool in their arsenal is confidence & the spirit of mischievous fun.

A new sub could get quite a lot of mischievous fun from having her best tool in his arsenal, too.

(Jeez, that took work.)

It's alright Peon, what you lack in wasted creative shindiggery, you make up for in sincerity.

Think about it this way: if you need to be able to make ripples through another's mind, you can do this by skimming skip-stones across the surface or by just wading in.

The wading seems to be paying off for you quite well!

I did chuckle slightly at that line - 'her tool', 'his arsenal' :). How cute...

By the way, I've been an 'Arsenal' fan for 12 years now.

Yep, I saw said troll.  Wow.  The one thing that'll always get me to zoom in on a thread is the word 'Nazi' in the title.  I'm nearly always disappointed when I see the subject-matter, though.

I don't say 'fuck' as 'fack' unless I'm doing my best Sahf Lannon (i.e. South London).  Takes practice.   Everybody except Venatrix thinks I sound posh - but, then, Venatrix's idea of 'posh' is a little suspect, IMO.  She'd probably slap the Queen for talking like a guttersnipe.

Who thinks you sound posh? I never said that!

Didn't you?  Oh sorry, Lady C, I probably misunderstood what you said, then.  I do have trouble understanding the speech patterns of the lower orders sometimes.

Just because you manage to mumble a bit doesn't mean you sound posh ;)

Thank you, Miss Sophie.  You are an oasis of humorous appreciation in a universe of frozen, inhuman mirthlessness.

No man has ever said that to me before...
