Ted Stevens believed to be in crash... Former Senator Is Believed to Be on Crashed Plane WASHINGTON (AP) -- A U.S. government official says former Sen. Ted Stevens is believed to have been aboard the airplane that has crashed in Alaska. The official tells The Associated Press Alaska authorities have been told the former longtime Republican senator is among several passengers on the plane. The official, who spoke on grounds of anonymity, says Stevens' condition is unknown. A National Transportation Safety Board investigative team has been dispatched from Washington, D.C., and was expected on the ground Tuesday morning. The federal official declined to be publicly identified because the crash response and investigation are under way. The Alaska National Guard has said there are possible fatalities.

when ever there is a plane crash- someone was on the plane who is forced to shut up. there are no accidents. just like that guy who drowned in his hot tub. it is all a scam.

Hunk, AK's the general aviation capital of the world. Planes crash there all the time, and I do mean, all the time. Do you mean that hunters, fishers, bush pilots, and bush residents are all silenced for some reason or another? Go look at the NTSB web site for a list of all accident reports. An Area twice the size of Texas but has 6 highways.None connect the east to the west. 70% of AK`s communities are accessable only by air(or by sled dog).
