iPADs and iPODs are constructed of less harmful stuff, that is more less the half truth about it... Mind you the high frequency radiation that most computerized devices and wireless device emits is another issue.. On the whole, when you look at the big picture. We are not very smart in regards to how we dispose of things. It's not just electronic stuff either. Clearly we are fucked up on a number of levels in this department. If anybody thinks otherwise, they really are missing the big picture and don't understand it. This is just one tip of many of the iceburg.

Ah, that's another scare. Every single one of us hams, RF or microwave engineers, cell site techs or engineers, two way radio techs or engineers should be pushing up daisies by now. A few of the increased cancer studies linked to 60Hz EMF were found to be due to radon exposure (utility workers working in underground concrete vaults with poor ventilation). There's even folks claiming to have a sensitivity to EMF, that it makes them ill. I used to complain like hell about being put in there and just got told to get on with it, interestingly a few years later the cage was out of use and condemned as being a hazard to health. I was told the cage was to stop RF radiation getting out into the working enviroment, pity the poor sod that had to work inside it, I used to work in that thing all day every day for a week at a time and the headaches, they were tremendous, thumping headaches just like a bad hang over from alcohol.

We've been over this at least twice before, it is proven beyond all reasonable doubt that tobacco use is detrimental to human health.
