Taking the next step is obvious finding the right person is the difficult part. If you both have a profile here state in it your looking for this and begin a search for someone compatible. Work with your Mistress in finding what it is you both require in the person you chose to make the search easier. Then do as your doing now communicate about it. If there is a local BDSM community in your area you could get active in it, go to munches and play parties. She can approach someone she likes for you there.
