Some years ago, I rented a house. It was a good deal for the time too. Too good to be true. Five weeks later, I returned home from work one day and was greeted in the driveway by two men in trenchcoats. They served me an eviction notice. I said "hey, I paid my rent", where upon they explained it was no fault of mine.

It turned out that the realtor who was supposed to be selling the house, unbeknown to me was passing himself off as the owner. He was in turn pocketing the money. Well, it turned out that the neighbors contacted the real owner, now living in Florida, which resulted in my eviction.

HOWEVER......

THIS story totally tops mine.....this guy has got some balls!!! (pun intended)
