ORIGINAL: sunshinemiss Hello Green Eyes, I get the wanting to travel with someone. I *totally* get that. Nothing better than seeing something beautiful and having the ability to turn to someone and share your wonder and awe. It would be nice just to have the opportunity to get a response to "should we turn left or right here? I can't tell from this danged map." As someone who lives far far from the people who know me, it gets tiresome being alone. And yes, it would be nice to on occasion have what your OP noted... and what your subsequent posts noted as well. I think most of us have at one time or another wanted the kind of zippidee doo daa that you defined in your OP. Heck some of us continue to want that. The norms on this board *generally, for better or worse* are relationship oriented. I applaud you for speaking what you want, for not getting snippy when confronted, and for clarifying. Good on you. Good luck in your search. If you ever find yourself in Korea, I'd be happy to chat you up. The rest, I wouldn't hold my breath! <<< after holding breath. best, sunshine Absolutely. I loved the post, hey it's upfront, honest and well...kind of imaginable. I love that the OP didn't get offended when he was rather reamed, *not saying that the ladies reaming were wrong* and hell, if I wasn't madly in love I might seriously consider. I have done worse for less . A free luxury weekend getaway with the terms upfront? Maybe, if I were so inclined. I didn't see him as calling everyone here a whore or a slut, and well, if it isn't your cuppa, move on. I bet most women have had a one night stand and felt absolutley discarded the morning after hoping it would turn into way more than it was. Me, not so much. I tend to be more "male oriented" that way. You only feel used if you allow it. I think it's okay to use something like this just as much as it uses you, if that makes any sense.
