Hah!

Sometimes I think turning on a Domme would be like the karate of flirting.  A dig here, a poke there - get her to laugh, but not too much; the occasional over-long stare at her eyes; drop your own eyes just at the right moment, licking your lips as you do so.

One day I'll leave the house and try it. ;-)

Because you have such a hard time turning women on, Darling.

So, how about that weekend? I'm thinking Blackpool!

Blackpool is good!    The towers are great and you can get sticks of rock there that are worth a fortune if you don't eat them.

However, we should banter no longer on this serious thread . . . .

Indeed!

Though it could be said that we were DEMONSTRATING, since you are after all, Younger Than I. Though I am by no means a cougar.

I know we were demonstrating, Lady Hib.  But the important point is, 'It works in practice, but does it work in theory?'

When I was 23, I dated a 46 yo divorcee. iId assume she was the "cougar" and I was the "cub" but I was definitely the Top and she was the bottom..

Just because a younger gentleman is dating an older lady doesnt mean he isnt in charge of the situation.

Interesting mathematics came of that relationship. It seems that 23 goes into 46 7 times with nothing left over.

*laughs* Well, I dunno, but we just watched a show on this last night. Per the definitions given (Carol is over 40 and I'm at least 8 years her junior), we were pleased to find out that she's a cougar and I'm her cub.

At least on the TV show, the only qualifiers were age related. They said nothing about personality profiles although I did note that it was clearly the cougar in charge in the one couple they profiled closely.

On "Cougarlife," the site defines "cubs" as:

"To snare a true Cougar a man needs to be youthful, fit, unintimidated and of course sexually driven! These men can range from athletes to intellectuals, and from technologists to entrepreneurs and all points in between; they can come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing they have in common is the desire to possess a sexually charged older woman."

I'm curious if femdoms consider this definition of a man to be attractive, and how it might overlap or not with what a woman defines as "submissive."  If you remove the age particulars out of it, and consider it instead that a woman is looking to be the one in control in a relationship, are there many similarities between what a "cougar" seeks in a "cub" and what a "femdom" seeks in a "male sub"?

I find that to be an interesting description. My "cub" did not snare me. He is obviously youthful or the "Cougar" dynamic would not be there. He showed interest, polite, attentive interest. I learned that we had much in common and it simply blossomed from there. And at 24 I highly doubt he wanted to possess me, he simply hoped for a return email. He still does not possess me, he belongs to me.

I would imagine that the only difference, at least to me, in cougar/cub and femdom/male sub would be that age does not always play a part in the femdom relationship whereas we all know that age is of utmost importance in defining a "cougar/cub" type relationship. At first I found the term cougar to be annoying, now it is simply amusing to me. I'm even thinking of ordering a delightful "Cougar Bait" t-shirt for my pet to wear when we are together. It will help the masses out, as most of them are thinking it anyway.
