She sat in the chair by the window and blushed as her leg made a noise against the leather. He knew the room to be hot, hotter than she cared for, and he had little doubt her thighs were dotted with scent and sweat.
"Tell me Confessa, why do you find this decision to be so difficult?" Mr. Pratt pretended to adjust his glasses to hide the slight slick of drool on the left side of his mouth.
"Because, if I don't find a way to have a life, then I will be lost to this forever."
"Don't you find your own reasons to be enough to show you the right path? You have them listed, you can just read them to remind yourself when things get confusing." Pratt mimicked this action with his clipboard.
"The reasons on the list don't satisfy the need to punish myself."
He watched as she collected her belongings, and then waited ten full seconds after the front door closed before kneeling down to lap at the seat upon which she had been sitting.
