Is there a beter way o hair removal then shaving or Nair. Shaving just makes the stubble coarser, and Nair can burn, Please help, Chemical burns are not really prt f play,

KyttynTheMynx -> RE: shaving (8/27/2010 8:21:10 PM)

Waxing. Duct tape and super glue. Tie thread around each hair and let a friend rip it out! Tweezers. Laser hair removal. Take your pick!

ResidentSadist -> RE: shaving (8/27/2010 8:23:11 PM)

Pluck it... 1 at a time slowly.
Burn it off... 1 at a time slowly.

How's that?

smartsub10 -> RE: shaving (8/27/2010 8:28:45 PM)

Um, what hairy part are you talking about?

For legs, nothing beats waxing.  Been doing it for years.  Haven't gotten up the nerve to wax my - ahem - "bikini area" yet but never have a problem with shaving it.  Never tried a depilatory in that area for the same reason you're afraid to use it - burns.  Yikes!

~FR~
There's always waxing, but I hear it always helps to be a little masochistic if you're going to go that route.

I wax, cuz i have the same problems, it only stings for a few and gets easier if you keep up with doing it every 4 weeks

peppermint -> RE: shaving (8/27/2010 11:02:17 PM)

I bought some stuff that promised to remove hair.  When I opened it up it was fine sandpaper.  It actually did remove hair.

myotherself -> RE: shaving (8/27/2010 11:53:52 PM)

I use an epilator.

(honest, I do!)

But I'm a masochist, and the pain is very bearable.

Waxing is for wusses [:D]

phoenixmoonn13 -> RE: shaving (8/28/2010 12:18:03 AM)

i have very sensitive skin and get rashes at the drop of a hat if i can pluck i will do but its not healthy for me as i used to be a hair puller. i use a sensitive mens shaving gel and shave i find hte womens ones too strong

ranja -> RE: shaving (8/28/2010 5:42:16 AM)

i love hair, i vote for growing it
.... when you are lucky enough to get really old, it will all fall out naturally

jujubeeMB -> RE: shaving (8/28/2010 6:03:52 AM)

I cannot stand hair (er...except the hair on my head) so I am all about the shaving/waxing/laser hair removal. However, shaving doesn't work and waxing hurts like a mo-fo (even closing my eyes and imagining that it's my Dom doing it do me doesn't make it better), so I'm going the laser hair removal route. It's expensive, but the trick is to go on www.groupon.com and wait for a serious discount - if you're really patient, that'll wind up costing a hell of a lot less than waxing once a month for the next thirty years, and be oh-so-much-nicer than stubble and ingrown hairs from shaving.

This from someone with about zero dollars to her name, too. It's totally doable. Though you do have to want the hair permanently gone.

if you do it the first few times to that hair then it is ok for me....however, once you do it the...dunno 10th time or so the hair became so damn strong that it hurts [:(]

might be worth to try a laser hair removal kit for home to safe money [;)]

I can't talk about experience in that respect but in the last weeks I hear a lot about it with varying results:

The OP is talking about shaving his balls . . . and you suggest an epilator?
I think my plucking joke is less painful.

I would pay to watch it happen.

That would lessen the pain somewhat...I'd expect [:D]

lizi -> RE: shaving (8/28/2010 1:28:24 PM)

I've done waxing on the pubic hair and it is painful but I could handle it. The thing I don't like about waxing is the constant upkeep and expense, and then the fact that you aren't hairless except for the first few weeks. Then it starts growing back in and you have to let it get to a certain length in order to rip it out again. So, when I waxed, I went every 6 weeks as recommended by the woman who did it and only the first 2 weeks or so of that time were completely hairless. I was told that you had to have at least 3 weeks of hair growth in order to successfully wax it off. To me...being hairless less than half of the time is not a workable solution.

I hate the stubble and itch of shaving. After reading jujubee's post I'm considering laser removal. I signed up for the www.grouponcom and lo and behold they had a laser hair removal special back in June. I'll have to wait patiently for another similar posting from them.

Pay?  I'm a sadist, I'll do it for free.  You hold'em down and I'll go get the tweezers and an epilator.  That mofo will be hairless in no time!

myotherself -> RE: shaving (8/29/2010 1:56:46 AM)

RS - when was the last time I told you I loved you???

I'll just go get the tweezers.

And the icy hot.

well...might as well make it some real fun! [:D]

SubPet715 -> RE: shaving (8/29/2010 4:29:23 AM)

Nair can burn? It most certainly will burn, a terrible shriek was heard through the house when my older brother tried it. I trim mostly I keep it short as possible and I shave it off when requested which it usually is but not wishing to add that to the number of things I upkeep I simply trim.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo nononono nooooooooooooo
juju, you are young and pretty (if thats you on the avatar) and of course you will do what ever you want.... but.... please consider this:

many many people like hair.... if you fall in love with a new man who loves hair and you have a bald twat and you are not even capable of growing any hair back because you have done this thing to yourself... well, he might not appreciate that at all... for some it will even be a deal breaker... why limit your choices?

play with the hair, grow it as long as you can, shave it all off... grow it back and trim it in a silly Brazillian... or a nazi tache.... pull it, die it, have fun and love it!!!

please don't mutilate yourself...
it is not the same if you have to buy a toupee if you change your mind
and if you are really patient... with old age it will all drop out anyway...
children and the ancient are naturally bald there...
mature virile people are sexy with hair

ok that was it
now do what ever you want
