It has everything to do with exposing bullshit for what it is.

The problem with the whole frame of a troll is that they find it necessary to promote the untrue.  Unfortunately, with this medium, many people believe darn near anything that they see in print.  This tends to happen more often with those who have little to no experience in wiitwd.  There will be those who will gobble up whatever is thrown their way because they see it in print.

So, you have someone who wants power in a dynamic, but has not found a way to obtain it.  This leads him to attempt to have power and <nudge, nudge> sends you an email to say he has some.  Look at the big man he is who gets people to respond!  This is his illusion of power, since obviously, it is the only type that he can obtain.  None is being given to him, as there is no submissive at his feet, so he desperately tries to grab some.  Of course, to you or I, we understand what kind of measure this is and there is not one bit of it that is akin to Dominance.  If anything, it shows the lack of power because the person has to "prove" that he has it.  Now, between you and Me, is that how it works in your dynamic?

I'm willing to bet that it doesn't.  It doesn't work that way here, either.  The day that I need to result to attention whoring is the day that I hang all of this up.

Hey guys, c'mon now...you know you have participated in whatever fray was going on in various threads. Why is the participation in this one so different?

I don't think it was fair of you to say that people are posting to distract away from personal problems. If that was true, it could be said of anyone, on any thread, any time, including yourselves, right?

I know you two have a sense of humor! :)

Actually I've sworn off feeding trolls.  There are a lot of things I look at a think, "Why bother responding to that?"

That is just the kind of fool I am.  I hate to see a group of beautiful and intelligent women providing mental masturbation for someone in need of the attention.

Me too. For ten hours?  Hold it and a shield up?  Probably not.  See, the earlier philosphers were talking about the greater upper body strength that men have.  With technology, they are not neccesary.  So no, I cannot hold up a sword for the number of hours.  A 9mm automatic makes me equal though. So, yes men had an advantage.  Not any more.
