sweetsub1957 -> Uumm, what IS it? (8/28/2010 12:58:08 PM)

I've been trying to induce lactation for about three weeks now and I'm getting results. I have some whitish stuff coming out, which is what I expected.....hopefully milk.....but I also have some dark golden stuff happening too, and I don't know what it is. All of it is smooth and creamy-feeling to the touch. My question is this....does anyone have any idea what the darker stuff might be? Thanks for any and all input.

Perhaps its colostrum?

La Leche League I have heard is a wealth of knowledge:

Well, according to ask.com, colostrum is yellow to orange in color, so that would explain what it is. Whew!!

Its a special secretion given off when a sub transitions to a Domme.

No, REALLY!!!!!  [8D]

hehe, do you have proof?  Or is this just your opinion, veiled as fact?   [:D]

DarkSteven -> RE: Uumm, what IS it? (8/29/2010 3:26:21 PM)

Neither. It's utter bullshit, veiled as fact.

I was testing sweetsub's submissiveness.  A true submissive will always believe a Dom.

This is an easy one.

First, check your expiration dates. Your milk may have spoiled.

If that's not the case, then the solution is simple. Ask your Master to reduce your breast torture - so you can stop churning out the cheese.

thornhappy -> RE: Uumm, what IS it? (8/29/2010 5:29:17 PM)

I never would've though about the expiration date.  But I hear tell that the ultra-pasteurized stuff is good well beyond the expiration date! [:D]

I am not trying to be cruel, but at a certain age isn't lactation kind of out of the spectrum of reality? I am 44 and at my age most likely my eggs are scrambled let alone attempting to produce milk when most women 50 plus are grandmothers. Perhaps it is a futile attempt for something biologically ridiculous.

thornhappy -> RE: Uumm, what IS it? (8/29/2010 7:13:49 PM)

It comes from prolactin (from the pituitary gland); there's a medicine that can start it and I think stim can induce it (kind of a feedback loop between the nipple and the pituitary.)  It's been done for women who adopt infants.

What thornhappy said. Prolactin is a pituitary hormone, not an ovarian hormone. Adoptive mothers who have never been pregnant have induced lactation, and even post-menopausal women have been known to. They may not produce as much as a healthy nursing mother would, but it's still possible to produce. I'm using wild yam cream and breast/nipple stimulation eight times a day and it's working.

colostrum

ResidentSadist -> RE: Uumm, what IS it? (8/29/2010 11:47:46 PM)

It will cycle out, you are just past the 20 day mark which is when induced lactation just begins.  You can expect some thick, odd colored, bitter tasting fluids in the beginning. It's normal for forced lactation.

Because the left doesn't want you to know.
