I read a blog from another Mat-Su resident very verrrry familiar with Palin. I started reading his blog after the announcement of Palin as VP candidate (this guy was popping holes in a lot of Palin myths [complimentary and uncomplimentary], though he's decidedly no fan. He also had a lot of Alaskan politics backstory.) He said that Beck and Palin will be putting on the dog in Anchorage at the Dena'ina Center, with a secret announcement, all on 9/11. I'm betting this is Palin's coming-out party as a candidate for Pres in 2012. So place your bets here! VAA will hold the money! (Experienced bookies can show the house odds. I'm an engineer, not an odds generator!)

Nothing this cupid stunt does is for the betterment of anyone but herself. 0nly 10 out of 18 endorsemnts worked so far... Id love to see her run altho the problem is should she win (HAH) of course no one outside of the USA would take america seriously ever again

She's making a ton of money being a political spokeswoman/kingmaker, and she doesn't have to answer to anyone or even speak to the press. Her brand will be worth much more if she's considered a legit Presidential contender. I'm curious how she will make a legit run that she will not win. Winning the GOP nomination is the last thing she would want to do...

Anyone realize that, if in 2012 a republican wins the Presidency, her "brand" will no longer have any value.

What a shame. The Matanuska- Susitna valley is a pretty nice place. Decent climate, State Fair in Palmer, some decent people, good weed, huge cabbages... and now that moron Blech is going to pollute it. IMO, he's waaaay overdue for pancreatic cancer.
