The right hates and runs from it`s past.Hence the attempt to confuse terms and revise history.
From the Spanish civil war on,the American rightest supported,funded and championed the Nationalists,Fascists and finally the nazis.
American rightist gave money,fuel,tools,tires,trucks and moral support to the Spanish Nationalists.Nazi Germany gave the Nationalist howitzers,machine guns and dive bombers.Together,American rightists and the nazis defeated the Republicans in the Spanish civil war.
The American left supported and gave money and even fought in the Spanish civil war on the side of the Republicans.
American rightists also supported Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany with money,material,aid and comfort, before the war started.
And to debunk the con lie that Communism and nazism/fascism are similar and aliened,most of WWII was between those opposing groups.
They weren`t buddies.
And at the time,.....the American left was sympathetic to the Soviets and the Spanish left(ironically named Republicans) while the American right was sympathetic with El Duce and his Fascist party,Franco and his Nationalists and Adolph and his nazis.
That`s just history.
