this girl would like to know what you do with a slave/sub who has a hard time in the beginning of remembering her place. It is a chrinoc problem that this girl has sometimes as we often are out ond about with non scene friends and *poof* girl falls out and forgets what she is and it's rather frusterating for us both. girl is NOT dominant in any way..just strongwilled. Any help would be appreciated.

What is your place? If you know the answer to that question, then all you have to do in "those" situations is ask yourself that question before you act or speak. I agree with Leto, time and practice. What you want in, and for, your relationship will be reflected in your demonstrations both privately, and socially.

Maybe 'your place' isn't for you. If you are twisting who you are into a pretzel to fit into a role/ costume/ etc 24/7 when do you get to be yourself? In the end who will you be? A woman or a puppet pretending to be a woman.

When you're out with friends why do you have to suit some role instead of just being yourself. You can't spend all your time living in fantasyland.

girl thanks you for all your comments. perhsp this is natrual and girl just needs to keep herself in the proper mindset and ask herself that question. girl IS indeed a slave, just settling in however with new rules.

Um, first of all, you are human as well as sub/slave, and you do have the right to be out of role. If you find you want to be staying in role and are just getting caught up in socializing, a reminder "code" from your Dominant might help. For instance, your Dom/me rubbing the inside of your wrist with their thumb, or tugging their earlobe can be enough to help you regain where you both want you to be. As stated before, time and practice will help you get to the point of not needing to be reminded. It is your Dominant's job to help you get there.
