Hullo all!

A couple weeks ago, I was playing with a girl and in that particular session, I had her hands restrained above her head and was flogging, cropping, and clamping her ample breasts (DD).  After a bit of this, I broke out a roll of 4" wide Vetwrap (a self adhering gauze bandage) and bound her breasts, leaving enough room to slip two fingers in sideways comfortably between the bandage and her.  After 'checking in' with her, we continued with a combination of floggers and crops.  Approx 5-10 min, later, she safewords out, lightheaded.  I grabbed my EMS shears that I keep for this express reason, cut the vetwrap off and uncuffed her, and laid her on the bed, and checked her vitals which are strong.  Breasts and areola are warm and pink. The lightheadedness goes away a couple minutes later.

At a later playdate, I tied her breasts again, but looser (about 3 fingers loose), and spreading the wraps wider (spreading 5-6" ratherthan 4"), and with her laying down.  Again, 5-10 min later, she has to "yellow" out (we use the color code) with the dizziness returning.

So, forearmed with this data, what could be the potential problems?  Is my technique wrong?  Could she just be someone who can't handle it well?  Do large breasts trap enough blood to cause dizziness?  Circulatory or neurological?

Someone help please,

Hello,
As far as large breasts trapping a lot of blood,  that depends on any given individual's capillary net, everybody's different. Larger breasts many times have a lot more subcutaneous fat, which usually protects the capillaries from being closed off, unless the binding is much too tight. Using the finger measurement is excellent, btw.  I wouldn't rule out hyperventilation from excitement, but I also wouldn't rule out circulatory issues, heart murmur, or possible vascular issues, either. Are you binding her under the arms, around the back with the bandage, or binding them together with the wrap around the sides of the breasts? Also, does she smoke?

She doesn't smoke, but she does have asthma, which she keeps under control. I do not believe she has any heart issues as far as I know, but some family history.  I wrapped them individually, around their bases, and then together around the sides the first time, and individually the second.  Maybe I'm just doing it too tight or should leaving off the individual wraps?

Okay, wulfgarw, have you ever played with her without wrapping her breasts?  Could it be that she's just getting excited and it has nothing to do with her breasts at all?

LadyRian -> RE: Breast Bondage and Dizziness (9/19/2010 7:25:21 PM)

Definitely try the play with no binding at all, if you haven't already.  You might then want to then try leaving off the individual wraps, and a little bit of a looser bind from around the sides. If that's ok, then maybe the time after that try just the individual wraps, and see what happens there.  I'm a large breasted girl myself, and sometimes  binding around the back can cause breathlessness, simply because it's too tight around the chest. If you aren't doing that, then you'll need to experiment until you find the right balance.

@DarkSteven, @LadyRian,  we have played many times before, between, and since and this only comes up as an issue with heavier breastplay. I was concerned that I may have been doing harm if I was pinching nerves or restricting a large enough amount of blood to cause lightheadedness. (which was my main concern)

Do you have the asthma inhaler at hand during the sessions? And does she take a preventative asthma medication?

Without seeing your technique, its hard to say.
Are you harnessing the breasts? by that I mean, are you making a body harness that fits under and around the back and sometimes over the shoulders? Are you then putting her arms over her head?
We have done a lot of breast bondage and there are particular times when I become light headed. He always makes a breast harness and like you, he makes sure that its not overly tight, especially around the rib cage but if he moves me around too much into different positions and especially lifts my arms over my head (this immediately makes the rib section tighter) then I start to feel a pressure on my rib cage.

girl boobies are mostly fatty mass. you can run skewers through them, nail them to a board, etc. and they still come back for more. the light-headedness, or dizziness that she describes, sounds to me like she's just about to float off to subspace and panics because she doesn't know what subspace is and having not experienced it, would liken it to dizziness and lighth-headedness. tie my boobies up, or tweak them and play heavy with them and i'm off and floating in no time at all, yippee!

While all these sound like goof explanation. I would have a blood pressure monitor attached to her when trying these kind of things. Low Blood pressure can cause dizziness and if back enough but a person in shock. So monitor the BP. If the BP is OK it is probably here endorphins or adrenaline kicking in.These are the beginnings of subspace but some people can have panic or anxiety attacks from them.
Oh one more thing make sure she is well hydrated before you start playing especially with plastic wrap.
Finally find out what the side effects of any drugs that she might be taking.

Could the dizziness be caused by arms above her head? I'd experiment with isolating that factor as well.

It would be this.

It's known to cause passing out. It was actually one of the very first things I was warned about. Try restraining the arms at chest height or behind her back.
