Mistress has branded Her intials in both of this slave's ass cheeks using the Violet Wand  in conjunction with the wartenberg wheel and finger stinger attachments. Although proud of the impressive results, realizing this will become a regular ritual for me, i have concern if over time such burning will permanently scar. Have experienced slight burn marks in past primarily with use of beaded chain, wheel and stinger attachments. These electrical burns have always disappeared in a short period of time but with intense repeat application upon the same area of tissue i am with curiosity and slight concern... especially as intials are about 2 1/2 inch in height.

If gone over repeatedly, it stands to reason they will eventually become a permanent scar.  Though, of course, this all depends on your skin, how much, and how often they're gone over.

That is my assumption as well and seeking confirmation.

She wants me tattooed "Property Of Goddess D........." In fantasy this is powerful and does excite me, however reality is it remains a limit for me and also too soon in our relationship. As some brands and markings fade with time, branding for now is within my limits.

i do not know about the violet wand, but Master has branded me twice with an electric cautery pen. The reason He has done it twice is because the first time it faded and healed and became almost invisible after only about a month. (We DO want it to be permanent) The second time, He went deeper, and made a wider line, using the original marks as a guideline. So far- though it hasn't healed yet- it seems to have worked better. i think part of the reason it wasn't such a noticeable mark the first time was because burns leave silvery/white scars, and i am very white. That, combined with the delicacy and shallowness of the lines made the whole thing disappear. i know that in daily life, as a klutz who is the main cook in the household, i burn my fingers/arms/etc fairly regularly- and the marks never stay. i would hazard a guess that if she is not actively TRYING to make the mark permanent, and if you do not scar particularly easily... it probably will not last forever.

i am not a doctor or any kind of professional- i am only pointing out that, for me, it is HARD to make the marks permanent. =(

Thank you for creating awareness of a option i had not considered. Did a google search and found a wealth of info.... thanks :-)

For now will continue with wand as Mistress sooooo does love using it... however at $15 a pop cautery pens will be a definite addition to the toy bag.

I'm so not sure about branding done with a wand. Usually, when any branding is done, it does scar; as a matter of fact, the scars tend to spread, widening over the course of time- even moreso if infection is present at any time within the first couple of months. I'm just not sure of the strength of a wand versus that of a cautering iron. 
In light of your concern, perhaps you should discuss this with her? ~ss~
It's nice that she branded you herself though!

This branding situation is weird for me in that tattoos, branding, piercing have all been limits. Many times in fantasy i have desired and enjoyed powerful thoughts of being marked by and for Mistress. Never did i anticipate it happening and thus never expressed interest nor contemplated the options, effects, etc. It is all new territory for me.

It was awesome to have Mistress brand me with the wand, especially in knowing She took such absolute pleasure in it. Ecstatic and proud in wearing Her marking i regardless can not shake some concern as my duration of servitude to Her has only been three months with one recent brief interlude. Common sense and logic dictate to me such is not a strong enough foundation to be adorned with permanent markings. With branding i am of assumption it will fade with time; obviously i shall soon have my answer... unless She refreshes it as i am confident she shall.

In eleven days i am to experience a nipple piercing. Find my limits quickly crumbling and caught in a Catch 22, your advice is good; i indeed should talk to Her as to my concerns... branding is good, at present permanency is not.

Branding can be done with a violet wand...........Master branded me with one using a special branding pen he made. I've had the brand 6 months now, it is starting to fade slightly.

Ohhhhhh yes branding absolutely can be done with a violet wand!!! Most curious how deep Your branding was and the coloring for the first few weeks. As for myself it remains slightly 3 dimensional as i can still slightly feel it , however it is deep red that i am confident will last a very long time, especially in being larger the lines are quite wide. As my first branding and the pushing/disolving of a limit the power exchange was awesome as was the sensation although in hindsight i do wish it was smaller.

Have tried to post three different photos in my profile and denied each time. First photo i could understand however the other two seemed vanilla to me. Last attempt i was wearing a leather shirt unbuttoned and holding a flogger positioned as in submissively presenting it to Mistress. If even that is taboo and too esoteric i'm destined to remain without a photo...  anything portraying more vanilla and i may as well post  it on Lavalife or a dating service. LOL.

Try using fresh cigar ash or a darker tattoo ink to color a fresh cutting or branding (electrocautery).
