I just recently became interested in the lifestyle. My ex was a submissive and the one who got me into all of this. The thing is i have limited experience and wanted to know what's the best way of learning the ropoes i guess. I'm looking for a another fellow dom to teach me or a sub who is willing to guide me along the way.

The best way to learn is to get involved with your local BDSM community. That is where you will find people who are able to teach you. My suggestion would be to become active in your local munch. Many groups have regular demos that can teach you various things. In the meantime, reading a copy of "SM101" or "Screw The Roses (Send Me The Thorns)" wouldn't be a bad idea.

i actually have a copy of sm101...all the safety stuff and the methods of rope knots in there are pretty neat. thanks though i'll definitely start looking into the munches in my area

Also Erotic Bondage, The Topping Book, The Bottoming Book. But yes, join your local community and take workshops. Learn how to do it safely, if you wail on a pillow with a cane and feathers fly everywhere, that's too hard and would have broken the skin on a human. But it's easier to buy new pillows while practicing than to cause ER visits for a sub.

i9'll make sure to do that...i dont wanna hurt anyone horribly...just enjoy the use of pain compliance lol. i'm actualy having trouble finding information on munches in the south jersey area...help?

Also get to know other kinksters and ask questions, though well thought out questions! Often many concepts you will understand will come from sources unexpectedly no matter what the other person identifies with. Many of the people here who I gained respect for, had started by me asking them their opinion on something I had no idea about. Thankfully they took time to give me points of views I wouldn't have normally considered.

Hilarious but true. I notice that I can accomplish a great deal, especially when it is just for the singular purpose of skullduggery lol
