Aloe and vitamin E are both skin protective, which is why they are put into baby wipes.

They won't hurt you if you aren't allergic.

However, as far as keeping your toys clean, just because they look clean after wiping them down with a baby wipe doesn't mean they are necessarily clean.

Soap and water or a toy cleaner are better options (although reading the ingredients on those is recommended as some do contain Nonoxynol-9 and some people are quite sensitive to that ingredient).

I have used the anti-bacterial wipes designed for hands in a pinch and then you could wipe them off again with one of your hypo-allergenic baby wipes once they have dried.

Not infections no, but I am still suspicious that they're that great for the overall health and quality of the ph for the vagina.

Why do vagina's need aloe and vitamin e and all this other crap they put in baby wipes. Specially if you're wiping the vagina of a little baby.  vagina's don't need moisturizing which is what vit e partially does.

And as far as scented wipes go, my gyno, has been telling me for years, ever since I was old enough to need a gyno,  do not use scented products, either wipes,  powders, soaps, duches, scented maci pads, scented tampons,  ect ect, it's not good for the ph balance, and they can cause irritation. but people think nothing about rubbing these scented wipes all over a babies vagina and up her ass crack, and if the scented stuffs not good or healthy for a adult's vagina, surelly it's worse for a baby vagina.

You can't get an infection from vitamin E etc. Infections come from bacteria, not vitamins and other compounds.

Really? I guess it makes sense,  I'm more worried about vaginal juices and the lubricant we used so I wasn't bone dry, being wiped off and so you don't put it away used and have it be all gross and dried vagina film  stuff all over it next time you use it than germs though.

Tfb, your concern is good but your anatomy is a bit off.
In a baby (and hopefully in an adult) you aren't washing the inside of the vagina with the babywipe but the exterior parts, or the vulva.
So there is no danger with that.

Aloe and vitamin E as mentioned before are skin protective.
Babies skin needs a certain amount of tlc to protect them from the assaultive effects the chemistry of urine and feces have on babies' very tender skin.

The amount of aloe and vitamin E are very small btw, and are likely used more for marketing than for their actual usefulness, however, aloe is very useful on skin irritations and actually heals burns.

Oops, yeah I just kind of mush all that stuff together when refering to the vagina,  and call the whole thing the vagina.  You're right. You're not putting the wipes in the vagina, they're on the exterior parts.

The external parts aren't susceptible to PH changes.
That's internal.

So perhaps just find ones that are unscented with no alchol or anything else but the vit E and aloe in them would be ok, and way less of a hassle.

I did the homemade for my kids. Easy and much, much cheaper! an air-tight container or baggie, 2 tbsp or baby oil, liquid soap and 2 cups of water...pour over a roll (cut in half) of Viva or Bounty paper towels. You can use whatever soap you prefer. I also substituted all purpose cleaner for the soap and oil for use on counters and such.

Just do a search for hypoallergenic no alcohol baby wipes... almost all baby product makes make them. Many children these days have multiple allergies.

http://www.amazon.com/Pampers-hypoallergenic-wipes-unscented-natural/dp/B003698Y64

A perfect example.

Right, it's not actually the aloe and E that's the problem, it's the artificial fragrances and other chemicals.

Baby wipes are not going to clean your toys, as someone mentioned above. It's worth the "walk to the house" to wash them (as well as washing yourselves and your parts). Baby wipes aren't really a substitute for a shower, or cleaning your cooch.
