MistressLina -> In search of serious web designer (4/24/2006 8:40:03 PM)

Hello A/all,
I'm in search of a serious web designer who would be flexible in terms of payment. I would prefer someone with experience building BDSM related sites to build my personal/professional page. I am very serious about needing this done, as I have had several starts and stops.
Any help or references would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mistress Lina

If you don't find what you are looking for here try www.ynot.com .
As an aside, over the long term you would serve yourself far better to buy DreamWeaver or FrontPage etc and learn it yourself. Having someone else do it for you means you (and your bank account) will be at their mercy forever. It will cost less in the short term and long term to do it yourself. Using one of the above (or others) is very easy and only cost half of having one made for you. Most web designers will want about $800 and up. WYSIWYG editors (what you see is what you get) are simple. Pop in the CD and follow the very basic directions. Good Luck.

Mistress Lina,

I am not sure how you would define a serious web designer but my girl Phoenix handles all the web design for my site www.dshaven.com Feel free to look Ds Haven over and if you like what you see feel free to contact me. Phoenix also makes all the graphics used on Ds Haven and most on the other pages. She can also do limited animations. She does not write cgi; primarily html, some css, some java and limited flash.

Here are some other examples of her work.

The thing is, I actually have experience with html coding and frontpage. The problem with this is that I want a more serious and professional looking page and I am terrible at anything requiring flash, which is basically how I want my site to run...lots of graphics and things.
I'm off to figure something out...

i am a web designer but i'm still learning a lot of what you are looking for - i don't think i quite have the capabilities to accomplish what you want. however, you might want to check out http://www.phattygirl.com or http://www.fragilemuse.org - both huny and emaleth are amazing designers and their abilities are more suitable to your needs.

Html and Flash designer here.....
I use Macromedia (Dreamweaver/Flash,etc)  ....I try to get a professional look, but with that added creative flaire to it....   feel free to check out my site   ...    www.jasons-moon.com
This is just an example of what a Flash site can do...   though you can incorporate Flash into HTML with just as much of a creative look ....and ease.
As for the flexibility of payment.....I am flexible, just tell me more of what you want  and how much you are willing to pay, I am an artist and understand the tight budgets.  Let me know...

I know flash inside out, and do a lot of work in making games in flash (from easy games to make (1/2 weeks) upto huge one (took 6 months to make a sex type game)) where I am not that great with the graphics, most can be found and changed from else where. What I do get a lot,is someone will point me to a site/page and they want something along that line, and I will do it, and them put in any changes they need. I do not work in html, but know someone that knows that inside out, and is his full time job, so nothing cheap from him (but I do get a few flash jobs from him) anyway get back to me if I can help. (PS I am not sub at all, so in no way intrested in anything that way LOL)

Totally off topic (or not) but I was lead to believe that flash is not compatible with or assist in SEO. If thats correct, why is it so popular with website owners as it can be detrimental to traffic?

This is the site for the woman that I've used for design. She's good, and provides excellent support:

Tell her Lady Zephyr sent you.

PS: this lady is the designer for KinkAuctions.com

if you are still looking for a web developer, I have experience with html, flash, dreamweaver and front page, if you can email me what you are wanting, and any material you may have, I would be happy to put a rough together for you at no cost and if you like the work we can negotiate from there :)  [email protected]
