I was trying to post a want ad on craigslist (no it isn't naughty) and it keeps coming up that I need to verify my account by putting in my phone number and having them text me a code. Has anyone else seen this? I havn't posted in a few months and I have never had to do it in the past so I am unsure if I should proceed with the verification or not. Is this legit or is it a scam? Thanks

Yes, they've had it for a while. Sometimes you don't get that verification screen if you've confirmed your email or if they don't think you are a spammer. Not exactly sure why sometimes I got it and other times I didn't.

Yes. I seen it. They did not abuse it with me. BTW- it might be the SAME system as the ebay system.
