It's also the equivalent of let's say you are the boss of a company, and your employee beats the hell out of someone while delivering packages, but yet you are responsible for it financially since he was on your time clock.

Yep, this is what democrats are all about.

Blaming an entire party or movement for what one or two people did is insane. Now on the lighter side, here's a comment I thought was funny on that :) Don't forget, republicans have been the victims many times themselves in incidents like this.

"Now where can I get a Dumbocrat doormat?  
 
I tried Wal*Mart, Target and Dillards. Non of those places had 'em in stock."

First off Wal-Mart Republicans, Democrats are not selling us to China.

Second, then you are willing to step up to the plate and claim Republican responsibility for balooning our deficits starting with the Reagan administration, right thru Bush,, and for invading countries and further robbing our treasury?

Seems to me that Republicans NEVER take responsibility.

Your standard schtick is 'Oh, he is only a RINO'.  But you say that after running him up the flagpole for as long as you can.  This is a reason why folks don't vote for them, because nobody, not even the party that claims them before they throw them under the bus know what sort of fuckheads they are.

So, we await republican examples here of claiming personal responsibilty for bankrupting the country, invasions and the like.

As usual another imbecile misquotes the McDonald's coffee case, well dipshit McDonalds lost because they kept their coffee at the utterly in-consumable temperature of 190 degrees.  They were told to dial the temperature down, they refused as the hotter the coffee is kept the longer it stays "fresh" tasting.  By way of example the very best Italian made espresso/cappuccino makers only BREW their coffee at roughly 160 degrees and the burner is set to roughly 130 to 140 degrees for storage.

After showing callous indifference to the repeated warnings McDonald's got their asses sued, and every fucktard jumped on the decision as an example of "lawyers gone wild" ignoring the basic fact that the coffee was too hot for human consumption.  Now none of this may make a fucking difference to your pointy little pin-head, but to real people in the real fucking world callous indifference is a punishable offense.

To be fair, you almost never see politicians (of any stripe) taking responsibility for anything they've done, be it getting a blow-job, knackering the country’s finances, failing to negotiate a narrow bridge when pissed off their faces, tapping phone lines and burglarising enemies, or rushing into insane wars.

Now I'm trying to think of the last time I remember a politician taking responsibility for something negative they'd done, and failing dismally ... anyone? UK I'm thinking of, but US would be fine too. Obama’s “yes I inhaled, that was the whole point” admission wasn't really the same sort of thing as by then having smoked pot wasn't viewed as a major negative ...

All the woman asked for was to have McDonalds pay for her medical bills. McDonalds refusal to accept responsibility made this case national news and ended up with them getting their asses sued.

Isn't taking responsibility for everything that goes wrong in the country Clegg's job description? Cameron claims credit for anything that might be even vaguely creditable, and Clegg's left holding responsibility for the other.
(I might feel sympathetic if he was less of a snivelling two faced cunt who's seen to it that his party's going to spend another thirty years in the wilderness the second the coalition collapses...)

Hmmmmm ... not 100% sure about that. As party leader he’s effectively sold-out his (but not necessarily his party’s) qualms about Tory behavior in exchange for (potential) electoral reform, or at least the chance of it. While I don't agree with what he’s done, or how he’s done it, I do think that a party leader is supposed to advance their party’s cause, even if it means they personally cop for some backlash.

And of course he hasn’t actually taken responsibility for anything as yet. So he's not a great example.

You have caused me to think of one example though, so cheers – when Prescott lamped that gobshite “protestor” who lobbed an egg at him he did say afterwards “of course I bloody thumped him!”, which I guess is about as straight as it gets. Although, thinking about it, one should probably disbar Prescott from this poll, as he’s always been especially cheerful about owning up to thumping people
