You give her too much credit.  I don't believe her ridiculous assertion that she is in horrible pain, then in the same breath is able to type about it.  Something does not seem honest.

Even with a * in place of an i, it's a vulgar journal entry. Disgusting.

Wonder if she'd respond to a dark-skinned MD.

Stupidity and racism are such wonderful traits.  Perhaps she'll eschew the advice to see a doctor and her opportunity to sully the gene pool will expire.

look at you, used to just have your head chopped off, now you are chopped at the waist and kneecaps, and I can't imagine that feels good, but you still type away, with your little stumpages.

tazzygirl -> RE: need a doctor (10/29/2010 10:12:28 AM)

I tend to agree with you, Katy. She posted that she was curled up on the floor, which has since been deleted from her profile, yet she was posting on line.

I have had an infection in my kidneys. I was in no condition to type. For two days i didnt even know i was in this world. Back spasms can be a muscle condition. But, associated with the kidneys its a severe infection.

The op is simply looking for a Dr... and i call bullshit on the "friend" in a "nursing program" telling her to drink a large glass of water on the toilet. Either that "friend" is first year (why ask a first year nurse, or Dr, about this issue?) or they are about to fail out of the program.

"I'm rolling around on the floor in agony.....and now I'm running to the computer to type about it.....and now I'm running to the bed to roll around in more agony.....and now I'm running back to the computer to type about it.....and now I'm running to....to.....um......the toilet! Yes, I'm running to the toilet to sit in agony.....and now I'm running back to the computer to type about it......."[8|]

I speak with some unfortunate authority in this matter, never assume back spasms near the kidneys and fever is minor.

NO EXCUSES.  CALL 911.
STOP BEING STUBBORN AND STUPID.

If you are have back or abdominal pain, fever, and dysuria (can't pee/painful to pee) you could have a potential life threatening emergency.  Go to the ER NOW via ambulance.

911 cannot refuse you transportation and treatment at an appropriate facility.  No one here can (or should) diagnose you.  A friend studying nursing knows enough to help kill you.  You need to be seen by a physician in an emergency room.  Get off your computer and go seek medical care.

hausboy -> RE: need a doctor (10/29/2010 8:01:09 PM)

Absolutely true.
And actually Angelika--there are many many possibilities for those symptoms including but beyond a simple UTI or a kidney stone.  None very pretty--some quite serious--all of which require medical intervention ranging from just a prescription all the way to surgical intervention. It absolutely kills me when people like this go online and ask for medical advice from complete strangers--most of whom probably have no medical background whatsoever--and then ignore EVERY person's advice here thus far--all of which has been good advice, and from what I can count, has been almost unanimously GO TO AN ED NOW....  and she chooses to disregard the responses, and then type  that's she still in agonizing pain rolling around on the floor.    I think this is the first time I've seen everyone agree on a CM thread.

Hope the OP goes to the hospital....and maybe while she's there they can transport some frickin' common sense in her head.

wandersalone -> RE: need a doctor (10/31/2010 11:39:15 PM)

It is ok everyone, you can relax - the OP is online now so she mustn't have died.  [:)]

babygurlangel -> RE: need a doctor (11/1/2010 10:42:49 PM)

well guess she didn't care enough to update us lol

drbob006 -> RE: need a doctor (11/21/2010 8:55:04 AM)

If you are interested in receiving a complete physical exam from me please write to me.

Are you freaking serious?  A medical play scene is the last thing she needs.  She may have a legitimate UTI.  Are you capable of diagnosing it correctly and writing her a prescription?

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: need a doctor (11/21/2010 10:02:58 AM)

His profile says he is a certified massage therapist and Licensed physician. Two skill sets you don't often (ever?) see together...

Lockit -> RE: need a doctor (11/21/2010 10:13:17 AM)

Why would an ethical physician announce he will do the examination publicly, when he could email the OP?

We need a fish smiley face.

Take that with a grain of salt.  He also states that he is an expert in everything known to man.

KatyLied -> RE: need a doctor (11/21/2010 11:19:44 AM)

He may be the fakiest fake evah!

Aylee -> RE: need a doctor (11/21/2010 11:25:02 AM)

Maybe she watched a bunch of House MD episodes and treated herself.

It could have been something crazy anyways. . . like a new potted plant of something.
