Is it possible to be submissive, and still have certain dominant fantasies? Without going as far as actually switching. With me, I don't have any fantasies at all, about having any sort of power. There are only a couple activities that I like and want to try. Example, a submissive who has absolutely no desire to control. Yet, she might like to perform anal upon her partner (toys and such). Perhaps, the thought of a strapon is a turn on for her.

Why not? We are all different. I think most experienced submissives will tell you at one time or another within their relationships they were told to do something that most of the world would'nt exactly consider submissive.
I know many male Doms who order their submissives to top other submissives, for various reasons.
Are you a submissive if your Dom orders you to put an anal plug in him?

Topping is different to dominating. Anyone can top, and you don't have to have dominant fantasies or urges to do so.

When it comes to sex or sexual activities, it's about give and take, and sometimes, the person who's giving can change.

Then there's also the situations where the subly sort tops the domly sort at their request, so by topping, you're actually submitting.

Hey Y'all-
I will use this opportunity to get rather confessional.....
I feel that I am a truly submissive person to those whom I love. With that said, I would also have to counterbalance that statement. For those individuals that I am not emotionally attached to I can be very Dominant and /or Sadistic. I am also extremely dominant in my personal social life.
I think that every persons' level regarding their personal BDSM makeup can vary greatly. For instance, I am not a masochist. My erotic pain level is extremely low. However- I certainly have extremely sadistic fantasies.

I'd say there's no accounting for one's fantasies. In r/l, I avoid humiliation like the plague. However, my fantasies often center on this very topic. Why? I don't know and doubt there is a one-size-fits-all answer.

Dixie, i'd say the same thing...my fantasies, and the activities that i remember the most, the ones that arouse me the most, are the ones that have been the most humiliating...sounds like on this aspect, we're two peas in a pod...or is that another fetish entirely.
